The First Satyr's Spaulders

This pauldron belonged to Xavius, the first satyr of Azeroth.

Xavius was a former highborne elf and the supreme advisor to Queen Azshara. His fate shaped the emergence of the satyr race. He was the first elf to commune with Sargeras through the power of the Well of Eternity. As punishment for his failure, Sargeras subjected him to torment and resurrected him in the form of a satyr — a goat‑like demon with horns, hooves, and a tail.

To obtain Xavius’s pauldrons, you must defeat Xavius in the Emerald Nightmare raid.

The drop chance for the pauldron is 0.2 %.

To access the Emerald Nightmare raid:

1. Travel to Azsuna via your faction’s portal room.
2. Mount up and fly to Val’sharah.

The pauldron is made of leather, so the following classes can obtain and transmogrify it:

• Druid
• Monk
• Rogue
• Demon Hunter

• The raid features a fast‑travel system. After defeating the first boss, you’ll enter a small chamber where Malfurion awaits. By accepting his quest and defeating several raid bosses, you can unlock the option to teleport directly to the final two bosses — useful if you’re not interested in loot from earlier encounters.

• Each difficulty level has its own quest, so make sure to pick it up on every run.

• The pauldron was previously available during the Legion: Remix event for 30 000 Bronze Event Coins. However, the event has only run once to date, and there’s no information about a potential rerun.
