Reins of the Grey Riding Camel

Fennimore Quigley is famous for being the first to milk a camel — and for achieving “the longest unintentional flight”… all in one evening.

Acquiring the gray camel involves a rather unusual process. You’ll need to follow these steps:

• Travel to the Uldum zone, having first installed the special add‑on (NPCScan).
• Scattered throughout Uldum are special Camel Figurines that you need to dig up.
• When you excavate the figurines, you’ll receive gray dust, which can be sold to any vendor. However, with a small chance, you’ll instead gain a 20‑minute buff that teleports you to the special zone Smoldering Lakes.

If you’re lucky enough to be transported to Smoldering Lakes, you’ll need to locate the elite two‑headed giant among the camels — Dormus the Camel‑Herder. Defeating him will grant you the coveted gray camel mount.

The figurines you need to excavate are very small and can be hard to spot. We recommend using an add‑on that notifies you when you’re near a figurine — this will make the search much easier.
