Shard of Azzinoth

Shard of Azzinoth are daggers forged at the behest of Azinoth — the commander of the Doomguard, a high‑ranking demon of the Burning Legion. Azinoth fell in battle against Illidan during the War of the Ancients, when Illidan still fought on the side of the night elves.

To obtain the dagger, you need to enter the Black Temple raid. Here’s how to get there:

1. Fly to Shattrath via your faction’s portal room.
2. Exit the city and mount up.
3. Head to the eastern part of the Shadowmoon Valley.

Inside the raid, you must defeat Illidan Stormrage. The dagger has a 9 % drop chance.

You must defeat the boss as a Rogue, as this weapon is class‑specific.

• Currently, only Rogues can transmogrify these daggers. Even if you obtain the daggers on another class, transmogrification will not be available to them.
• Unlike the Blades of Azinoth, you only need to obtain one dagger for transmogrification. The dagger is mirrored for both hands.
