Voidtalon of the Dark Star

Born on Draenor under the light of the Dark Star, the Voidtalons refused to serve the Shadowmoon Clan and were wiped out by Ner’zhul. Only one egg remains, lost in the Void.

Obtaining the Voidtalon of the Dark Star will require considerable time and luck.

In various Draenor zones, portals may appear at specific locations. You’ll need to find such a portal, enter it, and dig up the egg that will grant you this mount.

The portal appears when the server starts, remains active for several minutes, then disappears and reappears at the next location until it has cycled through all points and vanishes. The portal may repeat its route at random intervals.

To locate the portal, you’ll need to install a special add‑on (TomTom) and follow the coordinates below.

The portal can only be used by one person. Once someone enters it, the portal becomes invisible to other players and stops appearing at other locations, making this mount extremely difficult to obtain. We recommend arriving at the first spawn point a short while before the server restart, waiting for the server to come online, and then attempting to find the portal. This approach will increase your chances of obtaining the mount.
