Zovastrum

Zovastrum is a weapon crafted and empowered by the Jailer as part of his plan to reboot the universe. The phrase «Begin the end of all things», engraved on the weapon, reflects its purpose: to erase the boundaries between worlds and create a new order.

You can obtain Zovaal’s scythe by defeating the Jailer in the Sepulcher of the First Ones raid.

The drop chance is 3 %.

Besides the relatively low drop rate, you may face challenges just getting to Zereth Mortis. This zone is locked for players who didn’t play through the Shadowlands expansion, and unlocking it requires completing a significant number of story quests.

If you didn’t play Shadowlands or level alternate characters in that expansion, we’ve prepared a special guide to help you unlock this zone.

If you’ve already unlocked the zone, getting there is straightforward:

1. Go to your faction’s portal room.
2. Teleport to Oribos.
3. Head to the second floor, where you’ll find a distinctive yellow portal that leads to Zereth Mortis.

If the portal isn’t visible, it means you haven’t completed the story questline required to unlock the zone.

The following classes can obtain and use this scythe for transmogrification:

• Druid (Feral, Guardian)
• Monk (Brewmaster, Windwalker)
• Hunter (Survival)

• The scythe doesn’t change its appearance across raid difficulty levels, so you can run all available difficulty tiers to increase your chances of obtaining it.
• Some bosses in the raid have challenging mechanics. We recommend running the raid with a group if your character isn’t strong enough to handle the encounters solo.
