Dark Iron Dwarves

Dark Iron Dwarves are a sub‑race of dwarves belonging to the Dark Iron clan. Their former leader was the sorcerer Thaurissan, who first summoned Ragnaros to Azeroth. Now, under the leadership of Magni’s daughter, Moira, their goal is to build a new future free from the tyranny of Ragnaros and his minions, which was long imposed upon them in their native Blackrock Mountain. Under Moira’s rule, they have sworn allegiance to the Alliance and fight side by side with it against the Horde.

Increases Blacksmithing skill by 5 and work speed when using this skill by 10 %.

Requirements to unlock the Allied Race

To unlock the Allied Race of Dark Iron Dwarves, you need to meet the following requirements:

Earn the achievement War Ready.

This achievement includes the Alliance War Campaign storyline, which takes several hours to complete.

Complete a special quest that tells the story of the Dark Iron Dwarves and their joining the Alliance.

Upon completing these requirements, you will receive the achievement Allied Races: Dark Iron Dwarves, as well as the Dark Iron Tabard and the Dark Iron Core Hound.
