Bile-Stained Crawg Tusks — Transmog Set Guide
Overview

Bile-Stained Crawg Tusks is a one-handed fist weapon shaped like bony tusks smeared with swamp bile. The murky green palette and the organic, "rotten" texture make the model an excellent choice for looks built around corruption, disease, and dark nature. The item was added in the Battle for Azeroth expansion.
The weapon is of rare (blue) quality and, when worn, grants a poisonous effect: melee attacks can poison the target, dealing Nature damage. For transmog, only the model matters — the stats have long been irrelevant, and the tusks are worn purely for the look.
This is a fist weapon, so it suits classes that use this type: rogues, monks, shamans, and demon hunters. It binds when picked up, so it should be collected on the character who actually wants the appearance.
Source
The weapon drops from the boss Cragmaw the Infested — the second boss of the The Underrot dungeon, located beneath the swamps of Nazmir.
- Source type — a drop from a specific dungeon boss.
- The drop chance is low — around 1.3%, so plan for plenty of attempts.
- An additional source is the weekly challenger's chest for completing the dungeon in Mythic+ mode, where the item can also appear.
- Difficulty does not matter for transmog: any dungeon mode works, including Normal and Heroic.
- Binding — the item becomes soulbound on pickup, so it cannot be sold or traded.
The Underrot is a Battle for Azeroth-era dungeon, with its entrance located in the swampy zone of Nazmir on the continent of Zandalar. Cragmaw the Infested is the second boss, so he is quick to reach on repeat runs.
Who It Suits Visually
- Fits perfectly into looks built around corruption, disease, and dark nature thanks to its swampy-green palette and bony texture.
- Suits rogues and demon hunters who want an aggressive, "feral" weapon silhouette.
- Pairs well with leather sets in green-and-brown tones, especially those from Battle for Azeroth zones.
- Contrasts with light and golden sets — a debatable but striking combination that puts the focus on the weapon.
Tips
1
The easiest way to farm is on a class with high single-target damage — in an old dungeon you kill the boss solo in seconds.
2
Since the item binds on pickup, enter on the character who needs the appearance.
3
Cragmaw the Infested is the second boss, so on repeat runs he is quick to reach without clearing the entire dungeon.
4
The roughly 1.3% chance is low, so expect many runs — this is an item for steady, methodical farming.
5
An additional path to the appearance is the weekly challenger's chest for Mythic+: add The Underrot to your key rotation for an extra chance.
6
If you need a pair of tusks for dual wielding, you will have to get the drop twice.
7
You cannot buy the appearance on the auction house — the weapon binds on pickup, so the only reliable path is farming the dungeon yourself.
