Blood Knight's Impetus is an epic-quality two-handed polearm added to World of Warcraft in the Midnight expansion. It is a crafted Strength or Agility weapon, so its model suits classes that wield two-handed polearms: Druids, Monks, and — through transmogrification — other specializations that can equip this weapon type.
Visually, the polearm is built around blood elf aesthetics: a dark head with crimson crystalline facets and a metal binding along the shaft matching the heraldry of Silvermoon. The silhouette is massive, the head glows a cold scarlet that reads well even at a distance. This makes the model a strong choice for looks built around dark magic, Sunreaver themes, and an overall "bloody" color scheme.
The item is created through the Blacksmithing profession, so you can obtain it without taking part in a raid — you only need to find a master blacksmith or learn the craft yourself.
Blood Knight's Impetus is a crafted item. It does not drop anywhere on its own: it is forged by a blacksmith who has learned the corresponding plans.
If you do not have the Blacksmithing profession yourself, place a work order with another player: they will need the learned plans, while you can supply your own reagents.
First obtain the plans themselves: without them the item cannot be created, neither by you nor through an order with another blacksmith.
The plans are not soulbound — check the auction house, it is often faster than farming the raid for the bonus loot.
If you go into the raid for the plans, remember: they drop specifically from the Vaelgor and Ezzorak fight, not from just any boss in The Voidspire.
Gather a Spark of Creation in advance — without it the craft will not start, and its quantity is limited by the granting schedule.
The reagents for a single copy are not cheap, so plan the craft around a specific look rather than "just in case."
The weapon is obtained for transmogrification, so the item's actual stats are secondary — only its model matters.
If you do not have the Blacksmithing profession, place a work order and hand the crafter your own reagents so you do not overpay for the master's materials.
