Loa-Blessed Fang — Transmog Set Guide
Overview

Loa-Blessed Fang is a one-handed dagger of uncommon quality added to World of Warcraft with the Battle for Azeroth expansion. It is a short Zandalari blade with a massive bone hilt wrapped in golden ribbons and tribal charms: the guard is shaped like a beast's fang, and the blade itself echoes the silhouette of a loa's claw — a nod to the Zandalari animal gods and the cult of Rezan, the loa of kings.
The appearance belongs to the Zandalari artistic weapon line of Battle for Azeroth: the model is kept in a golden and dark-green palette without bright glow and fits tribal looks for trolls, rogues, and hunters well. In terms of stats it is a light level 50 weapon, useful chiefly while leveling a character in the zones of Zandalar, but as a transmog appearance the dagger is prized for its distinctive "beastly" silhouette.
The dagger is a typical item reminder of the Zandalar storyline: its 3D model is also used on quest rewards from Zuldazar and Vol'dun, so you can collect this appearance through several different paths.
Source
Loa-Blessed Fang is a world drop from enemies of Zandalar and part of the loot table of the Atal'Dazar dungeon. The item is of uncommon quality and drops at a normal rate without hard limits.
- The main farming spot is the troll camps of Nazmir: the dagger most often drops from Blood Troll Hexxer and other blood trolls in the swamps.
- In Zuldazar the item drops from Blood Hexxer and similar humanoids of the local tribes.
- In Vol'dun the fang drops from renegade sand trolls and Bonespeaker hunters in the desert camps.
- An additional source is the Atal'Dazar dungeon: the appearance can drop from boss loot tables, including Rezan and Yazma.
- The minimum item level is 50, so you can farm it even on low-level characters: the zones of Zandalar scale to the player.
- The appearance becomes soulbound on equip and unlocks the look account-wide instantly through the transmogrification system.
The Atal'Dazar dungeon at the current level 90 can be cleared solo on nearly any class in a few minutes, which makes the dungeon and the Nazmir zones the most convenient farming points for the appearance.
Alternatives
Loa-Blessed Fang has no color recolors with a unique palette, but the same 3D model is used on two quest daggers of Zandalar. Any of these items unlocks the very same appearance in the transmogrification collection.
| Name | Source |
|---|---|
| Reward for the "Mojambo" quest, Vol'dun | |
| Reward for the "Wreckage of the Temple" quest, Zuldazar | |
| World drop, Zandalar + Atal'Dazar |
If you have already completed the Zandalar story campaign for the Horde, there is a chance that one of the quest rewards has already unlocked the appearance for you — it is worth checking your transmog collection before starting to farm.
Visual Fit
- Suitable for Zandalari-style looks: the golden hilt resonates with the theme of troll tribes and sets from the Battle for Azeroth story.
- Harmonizes with dark-green leather armor and tribal motifs — looks for shamans, druids, and jungle rogues.
- Fits concepts tied to the cults of loa and animal gods — the model directly references the symbol of Rezan's claw.
- Contrasts with light heavy plate armor — a debatable but expressive pairing of a ritual weapon and an iron-clad character.
- Looks great paired with the same dagger in both hands on rogues — two identical "beastly" daggers form a cohesive tribal silhouette.
Tips
1
The most convenient path is farming world enemies in Nazmir: the concentration of blood trolls is high, and clearing mobs at max level takes seconds.
2
Before starting the hunt, check whether the appearance has unlocked automatically from the "Mojambo" or "Wreckage of the Temple" quests, if you went through the Battle for Azeroth story for the Horde.
3
The Atal'Dazar dungeon at the current level can be cleared solo in 5–7 minutes — a single run checks several boss loot tables at once.
4
The appearance unlocks in the transmogrification collection when the item is obtained by any character on the account — farming on an alt works too.
5
When leveling a new character through Zandalar, pick up the dagger automatically from any suitable enemy: even a single drop is enough to unlock the appearance.
6
The minimum item level is 50, but in practice the drop already comes from the earliest troll camps of Nazmir and Zuldazar.
7
It is most convenient to farm on classes with mass damage and fast movement — a druid in cheetah form, a monk, a shaman, or a rogue with a cloak.
8
If you need the appearance urgently, the easiest way is to team up with a group and quickly run Atal'Dazar several times in a row: there is no hard limit on dungeon entries at the current level.
