Ballistic Bronco
Overview

Ballistic Bronco is a mechanical flying mount added in patch 11.2.7 "Midnight Prologue: The Warning". It is a rocket-style ride themed around the Brawler's Guild, visually resembling the Rocket model from a depleted kaja'mite cart. The item description reads: "The perfect ride for a brawler who always hits the mark."
The mount is account-bound — once purchased, it unlocks for every character on your account.
Why You Want This Mount
- A prestige reward for clearing all 28 Brawler's Guild fights up to the maximum rank
- A flying and ground mount in one — its speed scales with your riding skill (up to +310% while flying)
- A unique rocket model that stands out among standard mounts
- Extra motivation to complete one of the most entertaining PvE activities in the game
Requirements
- A level 80 character
- Rank 8 in the Brawler's Guild (the maximum)
- Riding skill: Apprentice (ground riding), Expert Riding (for flying)
- 10,000 gold for the purchase
- An invitation to the Brawler's Guild (Brawler's Pass or Bloodsoaked Invitation)
How to Get Into the Brawler's Guild
The Brawler's Guild is a solo PvE activity where you fight bosses in a one-on-one arena in front of a crowd. To get inside, you need an invitation.
Getting an Invitation
- Talk to the Babbling Brawler in Dornogal — he offers an introductory quest
- Buy a Bloodsoaked Invitation on the Auction House or the Black Market
- If you took part in the Brawler's Guild in previous expansions, access carries over automatically
Arena Locations
| Faction | Location | How to Get There |
|---|---|---|
| Alliance | Bizmo's Brawlpub, Deeprun Tram (Stormwind) | Head down to the Deeprun Tram in Stormwind — the arena entrance is in the tunnel |
| Horde | Brawl'gar Arena, Valley of Honor (Orgrimmar) | Make your way to the northeastern building in the Valley of Honor in Orgrimmar |
Walk up to the bouncer at the arena and queue for a fight. While you wait, you can watch other players' matches.
Step-by-Step Acquisition Guide
Step 1 — Join the Brawler's Guild
Get an invitation using one of the methods described above. Then head to your faction's arena and talk to the bouncer to enter the queue.
Step 2 — Clear Ranks 1 Through 7
Each rank contains 4 bosses that must be defeated in turn. In total you will need to overcome 28 opponents. Here is the full list of bosses by rank:
| Rank | Bosses |
|---|---|
| 1 | Sunny, Doomflipper, Goredome, Dippy |
| 2 | Bruce, Bill the Janitor, Oso the Betrayer, The Quacken |
| 3 | Razorgrin, Blat, Ooliss, King Kulaka |
| 4 | Meatball, Ash'katzuum, Crush, Glorp |
| 5 | Klunk, Stitches, Topps, Carl |
| 6 | Leper Gnome Quintet, Mecha-Bruce, GG Engineering, Dippy and Doppy |
| 7 | Renegade Swabbie, Ogrewatch, Blingtron 3000, Epicus Maximus |
For each boss you defeat, you earn 250 reputation with the Brawler's Guild faction (Bizmo's Brawlpub or Brawl'gar Arena). Advancing to the next rank requires 1,000 points — that is, all 4 bosses of the current rank.
Step 3 — Reach Rank 8
After defeating the final boss of Rank 7 (Epicus Maximus), you earn Rank 8. This is the maximum rank, unlocking access to the exclusive rewards from the quartermaster.
Step 4 — Buy the Mount
Visit your faction's quartermaster:
- Alliance: Dershway the Triggered in Bizmo's Brawlpub
- Horde: "Bad Luck" Symmes in Brawl'gar Arena
Select
Ballistic Bronco and buy it for 10,000 gold. The mount appears instantly in your mount collection.
Tips for Clearing the Brawler's Guild
- Gear matters. The higher your character's item level, the easier the fights. With current Heroic or Mythic gear, most early-rank bosses fall in seconds.
- Play a damage spec. Use a DPS specialization — every fight has an enrage timer (around 2 minutes), after which the arena fills with fire. The goal is to kill the boss before then.
- Interrupt casts. Many bosses use dangerous casts. Keep your interrupt abilities ready.
- Keep moving. Most bosses have mechanics that require dodging: pools, projectiles, knockback attacks.
- Use consumables. The Brawler's Guild quartermaster (from Rank 1) sells brawler's invigorating tonics of strength, agility and intellect, as well as a healing tonic — they only work in the arena and noticeably ease the fights.
- Install the Deadly Boss Mods addon. DBM supports the Brawler's Guild and calls out the tactics.
- The mount is refundable. After purchase you have 2 hours to return it if you change your mind. However, the mount is account-bound, so there is no real reason to cancel the purchase.
- Challenges past Rank 8. Once you reach the maximum rank, you can buy challenge cards from the card trader (Card Trader Leila for Alliance, Card Trader Ami for Horde) for 30,000 gold each — these are extra difficult fights with unique rewards.
