Blanchy's Reins — How to Get the Secret Mount from Revendreth
Sinrunner Blanchy

Sinrunner Blanchy is a secret flying mount from the Shadowlands expansion. This spectral crimson horse is a reimagining of Old Blanchy, familiar to every WoW veteran from the classic quest in Westfall. To obtain the mount, you must care for Dead Blanchy in Revendreth over six days, bringing her specific items.
The mount is guaranteed — no random drop. Six days of patience and Blanchy is yours. Since patch 9.1 the mount can fly.
Why Farm Sinrunner Blanchy?
- Guaranteed acquisition — no need to rely on luck; the mount is awarded after completing all six stages
- Unique model — a spectral horse with a crimson mane and glowing eyes, one of a kind
- Special summoning animation — Blanchy dramatically appears from mist when summoned
- Flying mount — since patch 9.1, Blanchy can fly
- Historical reference — a direct tie to the classic quest "Poor Old Blanchy" from Westfall, one of the earliest quests players have known since 2004
Requirements
- Character level: technically 10+ (Shadowlands content scales), but a level 80 character is recommended for comfortable travel
- Access to Revendreth: you must reach the Shadowlands. Complete a short introductory Shadowlands quest chain, which opens a portal to Oribos — the capital of the Shadowlands. From Oribos a portal to Revendreth is available
- Time: at least 6 days (one interaction per day). The days do not need to be consecutive
- Gold: about 10 gold + some Shadowlands meat
- No quest chains or reputation required: the mount is accessible immediately upon reaching Revendreth
How to Reach Revendreth
- Head to your faction capital (Stormwind or Orgrimmar)
- If you have never been to the Shadowlands, pick up the introductory quest from the Maw Walker near the notice board. Complete the short intro chain — it takes about 15–20 minutes
- After the intro chain you will be in Oribos. Take the teleporter in the center of the hall to the upper floor
- On the Ring of Transference find the portal to Revendreth and use it
- If you have already been to the Shadowlands, the portal to Oribos is in the portal room of your capital city
Where to Find Dead Blanchy
Dead Blanchy spawns in the Endmire area of Revendreth.
She runs along the river from the northern part of the Endmire to the south. To stop her, stand directly in her path — Blanchy will stop and the interaction option will appear.
Spawn time: Blanchy respawns every 1–2 hours and remains in the world for only 5 minutes after the first player stops her. If Blanchy is not there, wait — she will appear soon.
Tip: open the Group Finder (Premade Groups) and search for groups named "Blanchy" — players often create groups on realms where she is already active.
Step-by-Step Guide: All 6 Days
All required items can be gathered in advance and stored in your bags. We recommend preparing everything before your first visit to Blanchy so you do not waste time searching each day.
Day 1 — Handful of Oats (×8)
Head to Westfall (Eastern Kingdoms). At Saldean's Farm there are scattered oat bags — interact with them to collect
Handful of Oats.
The bags respawn quickly, so collecting all 8 takes only a couple of minutes. Bring the oats to Dead Blanchy and feed her.
Day 2 — Grooming Brush
Visit NPC Snickersnee in Darkhaven, Revendreth. Speak to him and he will give you a
Grooming Brush for free.
Bring the brush to Blanchy and groom her.
Day 3 — Sturdy Horseshoe (×4)
Collect 4
Sturdy Horseshoes — they lie on the roads of Revendreth between Darkhaven and the Endmire. Look for glowing "Discarded Horseshoe" objects right on the roadside.
The horseshoes are scattered randomly along the main roads of the zone. If one has already been picked up by another player, wait a couple of minutes or check a different stretch of road. Bring the horseshoes to Blanchy.
Day 4 — Bucket of Clean Water
Pick up an empty water bucket near Snickersnee in Darkhaven:
The water in Revendreth is tainted, so you need to collect clean water in Ardenweald or Bastion. Simply approach any body of water in one of these zones and use the bucket from your inventory — it will become a
Bucket of Clean Water. Return to Blanchy and give her a drink.
Day 5 — Comfortable Saddle Blanket
Comfortable Saddle Blanket is sold by the ethereal vendor Ta'tru at the Night Market in the southern part of Revendreth.
Ta'tru does not accept gold — he trades by barter. Each week the required currency changes: it may be meat, herbs, or other Shadowlands crafting materials. Usually about 30 of a given resource are required. Check what he asks for this week and gather the materials.
Bring the saddle blanket to Blanchy and place it on her back.
Day 6 — Dredhollow Apple (×3)
Buy 3
Dredhollow Apples from NPC Mims in the Hole in the Wall tavern in western Revendreth.
Each apple costs about 2.5 gold. Feed all three apples to Blanchy — after that
Blanchy's Reins will automatically appear in your inventory.

Tips and Recommendations
- Gather all items in advance. All six items can be kept in your bags at the same time. Spend one day collecting everything — then you only need to visit Blanchy six times
- 24-hour cooldown between visits. The restriction is per character and counts from the moment of the last interaction. If you fed Blanchy at 8 PM, the next visit is possible no earlier than 8 PM the following day
- If Blanchy is not spawning, use the Group Finder: type "Blanchy" in the custom group search. Other players often create groups on realms where Blanchy is already running
- The mount is account-bound — you only need to obtain it on one character
- The entire process takes about 10 minutes per day if all items are pre-gathered. The main wait is for Blanchy to spawn
- Shadowlands content — this is an old expansion (two expansions ago), so there are no difficulties. All zones and NPCs are available normally

Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.
