Bloody Skyscreamer
Overview

Bloody Skyscreamer is a flying mount added to World of Warcraft in patch 10.2.7 "Dragonflight" alongside the limited-time WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event (launched May 16, 2024). The mount is a massive red pterrordax (skyscreamer) wearing green harness gear. The item's flavor text notes that this beast still carries the rage of its ancestors from the days of the Zandalari invasion.
The mount was sold for the event's internal currency — Bronze — by Heming Ernestway XVII at any of Pandaria's Infinite Bazaars. The price was 4,400 Bronze. This is an exclusive reward of the Remix event that did not exist in the vanilla version of Mists of Pandaria and is no longer obtainable through normal means after the event ended on August 20, 2024.
Why You Want This Mount
- Unique coloring — a blood-red pterrordax with green harness. The mount model was previously used only on hostile NPCs in the Isle of Thunder zone and was not granted to players in regular MoP
- Flying mount — a full-fledged flying transport whose speed depends on your riding skill and zone (from +150% to +310%). Suitable for any gameplay task where flight is allowed
- Account-wide unlock — once the item is used, the mount appears in the collection of all your characters, regardless of faction, class, or level
- Remix-event exclusivity — it currently belongs to the temporarily unavailable category. Any owner of such a mount truly stands out in a collection
How to Get It
The main and only route to the mount is the WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria mode in patch 10.2.7. At the time of writing the event has ended, but Blizzard stated its intention to bring Remix events back cyclically, similar to Timewalking, so the mount is expected in future re-runs.
- Wait for the WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event — or another Remix event in which Heming Ernestway XVII's catalog is available — to reopen
- Create a Timerunner character on the dedicated hero creation page (or use an existing one from the previous event)
- Travel to any Infinite Bazaar — these points are located in all major Pandaria zones except the Krasarang Wilds
- Find Heming Ernestway XVII with the "Beast Lord" title — he stands by the bazaar portal alongside the other vendors
- Accumulate 4,400 Bronze through daily quests, dungeons, scenarios, raids, or mob farming
- Buy the
Bloody Skyscreamer and use the item — the mount will be bound to your account forever
Infinite Bazaars — Where to Find Heming Ernestway XVII
Heming Ernestway XVII is present at every Infinite Bazaar in Pandaria. The bazaars are marked on the map with an hourglass-house icon. List of zones with bazaars:
| Zone | Bazaar notes |
|---|---|
| Valley of the Four Winds | Starting bazaar for most Timerunners |
| The Jade Forest | Bazaar at the zone entrance |
| Kun-Lai Summit | Convenient for the Throne of Thunder raid |
| Townlong Steppes | Close to Pandaria's dungeons |
| Dread Wastes | None, no bazaar |
| Vale of Eternal Blossoms | Central hub for most activities |
| Krasarang Wilds | No bazaar |
Every bazaar works identically, and Heming Ernestway XVII's entire catalog is synchronized across all points. You can buy mounts at any of them, no difference.
How to Farm Bronze
To purchase the mount you need to gather 4,400 Bronze. In the Remix event Bronze drops from practically any activity, but the efficiency of sources varies greatly.
Raids (highest efficiency)
- In Remix mode raids have a daily loot lock instead of weekly, which radically increases Bronze income
- The most profitable are the old Pandaria raids: Throne of Thunder, Mogu'shan Vaults, Heart of Fear and Siege of Orgrimmar
- One full raid clear usually yields from 1,000 to 3,000 Bronze depending on difficulty
Dungeons and Scenarios
- Heroic Pandaria dungeons remain a steady source of Bronze. Queuing as a tank or healer noticeably reduces the wait time
- Scenarios require no specific role and are completed in 5–7 minutes
Daily and One-Time Quests
- The three daily quests at the Infinite Bazaar grant 200 Bronze each — this is the base of your daily routine
- Old MoP faction dailies (Shado-Pan, Golden Lotus, Klaxxi, August Celestials) also reward Bronze in Remix mode
Mob Farming
- Frogs on the Timeless Isle and goats in the Valley of the Four Winds are traditional farm spots. Their Bronze drop has been adjusted by the developers but is still relevant
- Bronze orbs that spawn in the air while flying around Pandaria provide passive income with no cap
Farming Optimization
Concentrating on One Character
Unlike retail WoW, in the Remix event almost all progress is tied to a single character. Level your main hero as fast as possible to unlock access to raids and maximum Bronze rewards.
- Complete the Timerunner's starting campaign and level up to the event's maximum level
- Gather a basic set of Threads of Power and improve your gear through the thread cascade
- Unlock all raid modes — from LFR to Heroic
- Launch a daily cycle: 3 bazaar quests + 1 raid + 1 scenario + collecting orbs during flights
Purchase Priority
If you don't yet have enough Bronze for everything, buy the Remix-exclusive mounts first, among them the
Bloody Skyscreamer. Retail mounts from Heming Ernestway XVII are cheaper to farm later — they are available in the regular game too, albeit with a small drop chance.
Preparing for the Return of Remix
If you missed the first event window in 2024, it makes sense to prepare in advance:
- Study all Timerunner mechanics and the Threads of Power cascade via guides
- Prepare your account for a fast start: free up space for a new character
- Track Blizzard news about Remix restart dates via the official site and major player communities
Tips
1
Buy Remix exclusives first — once the event closes, the mounts become unavailable.
2
Don't ignore the daily quests — three bazaar quests grant 600 Bronze in 10–15 minutes, which over 8 days covers the cost of one exclusive mount
3
Level your riding skill — to fully use the skyscreamer in the air you need Master Riding. In the Remix event riding levels up automatically with your level
4
Use the Threads of Power cascade — invest resources into your character's combat power so raids and heroics clear faster. The higher your damage, the more Bronze per hour
5
The mount is account-bound — once obtained it appears in the collection of all your main-game characters, including those that never took part in Remix
6
Watch for Blizzard announcements — Remix events have no fixed rotation, but the developers promised cyclical re-runs. Subscribe to major news outlets so you don't miss the chance to buy
7
Check Heming Ernestway XVII's full catalog — besides the skyscreamer you can buy dozens of other mounts, toys, and transmog sets from him, many of which are also event-exclusive

Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.
