It is not a combat weapon but a prop for roleplay and lighthearted looks, and it is precisely this plain silhouette that appearance collectors prize. The model appeared back at the game's launch and has wandered through every expansion since without a single change.

The staff is not class-bound: the appearance is available to any character who can wield staves — druids, mages, priests, warlocks, shamans, and monks. The combat stats on this white broom are token at best, so the entire point of the item is how it looks once the appearance is unlocked in your wardrobe.

The appearance can be obtained two ways, and it is easier to pick the one based on which zones suit you best.

• The main source is a drop from the Tirisfal Farmhand, a peaceful peasant on Solliden Farmstead in Tirisfal Glades, north of the undead's underground city.
• The drop chance is low, around 0.13%, so the broom from this source takes a long time to farm and counts as a rare find.
• Farmhands stand and wander in groups around the farm buildings, so you can clear them with almost no pauses for respawns.
• No prerequisites, reputation, or quest chains are required to farm it — you just need to reach the zone.

There is also a far simpler option with the same appearance — the Farmer's Broom sold by gardener merchants in the capitals of recent expansions.

• In Valdrakken, Gardener Cereus keeps the broom in stock right next to the city's garden beds.
• The purchase costs a token amount of gold and requires neither reputation nor level, so collecting the appearance this way is the fastest of all.
• Both versions of the broom grant the exact same look, and unlocking either one opens the appearance for your entire account.

• Looks built around peaceful professions: farmer, janitor, gardener, simple village dweller.
• Sets of plain cloth and leather in natural tones — grey, brown, faded fabric.
• Roleplay scenes in taverns and villages, where a combat staff would feel out of place.
• Contrasting "unserious" looks, where the armor is heavy and menacing yet an ordinary broom sits in your hands.
