Felscorned Shalamayne — Transmog Set Guide

Overview

Отвергнутый Скверной Шалламейн

Felscorned Shalamayne is a weapon illusion for transmogrification, not the weapon itself. When used, the item adds the appearance to your warband's collection, after which it can be applied to a two-handed sword through the transmogrifier.

The appearance is based on Shalamayne — the legendary two-handed sword of Varian Wrynn, forged from the blades Shalla'tor and Ellemayne. Here it is shown in a fel-corrupted variant: a dark green blade covered in demonic runes, with a twisted greenish light smoldering at the hilt. The effect echoes the aesthetic of the Broken Shore and the invasion of the Burning Legion.

The appearance was added in patch 11.2.5 as part of the limited-time world event WoW Remix: Legion. Besides the two-handed version, the set also includes one-handed paired blades — Felscorned Shalla'tor and Felscorned Ellemayne.

Source

The appearance is a reward of the achievement type within the limited-time WoW Remix: Legion event.

All three appearances are unlocked at once by a single item — Fallen King's Corrupted Blades. This item is granted for the meta-achievement The Broken Shore, available in the third phase of the event — the Legionfall stage — on a timerunner character.

For the meta-achievement you need to complete any three of the four internal achievements:

The longest step is grinding reputation to Exalted with the Armies of Legionfall. The other three are completed during normal leveling on the Broken Shore, so to save time you can skip the reputation point and close out the three "progression" achievements.

Important: the WoW Remix: Legion event ended on January 19, 2026. In the current Midnight expansion this appearance cannot be obtained — the set is available only while the event is active. If Blizzard repeats the event or moves the rewards into the main game, the acquisition path may change, so it is worth checking the latest news before farming.

Visual Pairing

  • It pairs with plate sets in the green-and-black Fel palette — for example, with the demon hunter tier and appearances from Broken Isles dungeons.
  • It harmonizes with Burning Legion effects: the green glow of the blade echoes felfire and the demonic runes on armor.
  • It looks striking in contrast against "bright" paladin or royal sets — a deliberate nod to the king's fall, a controversial but expressive choice.
  • It suits a warrior, death knight, or paladin as a two-handed weapon with a dark, "corrupted" theme.

Tips

1

The appearance and the paired one-handed blades are unlocked by a single item, so you get the whole trio in one go.

2

Before grinding reputation, check which three of the four achievements are easiest for you: the reputation step is the most time-consuming.

3

The achievements are completed by a timerunner character, so all the work must be done on that character within the event.

4

The Legionfall campaign unlocks Breaching the Tomb and guides you through the Broken Shore story along the way — it is the most reward-dense route.

5

Since the event is temporary, plan your farming ahead: after it ends the appearance becomes unavailable until a possible return.

6

The illusion is applied through the transmogrifier to any two-handed sword, so there is no need to keep the item in your bags after using it.
