Get Fiery Vengeance

Overview

Огненное отмщение

Game iconFiery Vengeance is a one-handed sword with a blazing blade, made in the classic "fiery" style of blacksmithed weapons. The appearance was returned to the game in the Dragonflight expansion alongside a wave of resurrected old Zul'Gurub recipes. It is a dressy option for looks built around fire and flame.

The sword can be used by warriors, death knights, and paladins. Since the item is crafted from an old plan and has long been outdated in terms of stats, today it is made exclusively for its transmogrification appearance.

Source

The appearance does not drop from bosses directly — it is a Blacksmithing crafted item.

If you do not have Blacksmithing, the easiest way is to find the plan or a finished sword on the auction house: "Gurubashi Offerings" are opened en masse for gold and ancient recipes, so there is usually supply on the servers.

Who It Suits Visually

  • It fits plate sets in red-orange and charcoal-black tones — the blazing blade supports the fire theme.
  • It looks great in outfits built around the fire element: fire mages do not carry a sword in lore, but visually a "flame" set comes together for plate wearers.
  • It harmonizes with shields and shoulders bearing fire effects from the same content period.
  • It stands out in contrast against cold blue and silver sets, adding a bright, hot accent.

Tips

1

The simplest path is the auction house: specify that you need the appearance, and grab a finished sword or commission a craft from a blacksmith.

2

If you farm the recipe yourself, open "Gurubashi Offerings" in Zul'Gurub: both the ancient plans and some of the reagents drop from there.

3

Reagents like Essence of Fire and Heart of Fire are gathered from old fire elementals — they are convenient to farm along the way in zones with fire elementals.

4

At max level (90 in Midnight) Zul'Gurub can be soloed without trouble, so collecting the recipe and reagents does not require a group.

5

The finished sword is bind on equip: if you craft it on a blacksmith alt, do not forget to transfer the item to the right character before you equip it.
