First Fist of the So Cartel — Transmog Set Guide

Overview

First Fist of the So Cartel

The "First Fist of the So Cartel" is a one-handed fist weapon of rare quality, added to World of Warcraft with the Tazavesh, the Veiled Market mega-dungeon in the Shadowlands expansion. The model resembles the bladed gauntlet wielded by the So Cartel's assassin brokers — the mercenaries guarding Tazavesh's market districts. The blades extend from the back of the hand, the metal is dark with a matte finish, with no glow or effects.

This weapon suits classes that use fist weapons: rogues, monks, shamans, demon hunters, and warriors. The silhouette is compact and predatory — best for aggressive, "shadowy" looks rather than bulky combat sets.

Source

The weapon drops from So'azmi — the final boss of the Tazavesh, the Veiled Market wing, specifically its "Streets of Wonder" half. This is the part of the mega-dungeon that rotates into the Mythic+ pool in The War Within.

  • Difficulty: any works — the normal mega-dungeon mode, Mythic, and Mythic+. The mode does not matter for transmog.
  • Drop chance is around 8% from So'azmi's loot table.
  • There is no attempt limit: when running through the normal mega-dungeon mode (not on a keystone), you can enter as many times per day as you like.
  • At the current level cap the dungeon is easily soloed, so you can farm the fist alone with repeated runs.

So'azmi is a teleporting boss: he sets up teleporter portals and divides the arena into sectors. In solo farming at max level these mechanics don't get in the way — you just need to run up to the boss and kill him.

Alternatives

No separate color variants of this specific model are documented among items available to players — the "First Fist of the So Cartel" is the only in-game version of the assassin brokers' bladed gauntlet. Look for fist blades with a similar silhouette among other weapons from the same dungeon:

  • So'azmi drops more than just this weapon — in a single run you have a chance to get several items from his loot table, including other one-handed weapons.
  • Tazavesh, the Veiled Market as a whole is a good source of "shadowy" and "smuggler" broker weapon aesthetics.

Who It Suits Visually

  • It pairs with dark leather and mail sets in a mercenary or assassin style — the muted metal of the blades doesn't clash with such fabrics.
  • It harmonizes with Tazavesh- and broker-themed looks: the grey-purple and cosmic palette of Shadowlands.
  • It suits melee specs that dual-wield — the bladed gauntlet looks striking in both hands.
  • It contrasts with bright "holy" or "fiery" sets — a debatable choice, but it draws attention to the hands.

Tips

1

Enter through the normal mega-dungeon mode if you are specifically farming transmog: there is no weekly limit and you don't need a keystone.

2

So'azmi stands at the end of the "Streets of Wonder" wing — you need to clear the previous bosses to reach him, the route is linear.

3

Classes with high mobility and self-healing are optimal: rogue, demon hunter, monk — they clear the dungeon the fastest.

4

A single run from the boss can drop several items, so check all the loot, not just the fist weapon.

5

If you are collecting the appearance on several characters at once, remember: a weapon's appearance unlocks account-wide in the collection after the first acquisition.

6

In The War Within Mythic+ the dungeon also gives current power-level loot, so you can combine transmog farming with pushing keystones.
