MoP Classic Fury Warrior — Guide (Phase 5)
About the Class
Fury Warrior is a dual-wielding melee fighter powered by rage.
With
Titan's Grip you can wield two two-handed weapons, and with
Titan's Grip: Single-Minded Fury two one-handed ones. The playstyle is built around never dropping out of
Enrage and funneling all of your damage into the
Colossus Smash window. It is an extremely active specialization with almost no empty global cooldowns, and the best cleave in the expansion together with
Skull Banner and
Rallying Cry.
Strengths
- The strongest cleave and area damage among melee.
- Excellent, steady single-target damage.
- Very tough.
- Great mobility and combat uptime.
- Very active playstyle: there is always something to press.
- Brings
Skull Banner and
Rallying Cry to the raid.
Weaknesses
- Often short on rage.
- Extremely gear-dependent.
- Requires a lot of hit due to auto-attack misses while dual-wielding.
- Damage is heavily skewed toward the
Colossus Smash windows.
Stat Priority
- 1Hit up to the 7.5% soft cap
- 2Expertise up to the 7.5% cap
- 3Strength
- 4Critical Strike rating
- 5Mastery
- 6Haste
- 7Hit beyond the soft cap, up to the 26.5% hard cap
The 7.5% hit soft cap covers special-attack misses. 7.5% expertise is enough because bosses do not parry from behind. Auto-attacks while dual-wielding suffer an additional 19% miss chance, so hit retains value up to the 26.5% hard cap.
