Engineering isn’t the most popular profession among players due to its complex leveling process, specialization branches, and lack of Order Board options. Nevertheless, it has always been — and remains — one of the most sought‑after professions. This is because engineers can craft numerous useful items (such as the Barely‑Functional Cable Defibrillator) for resale on the Auction House. Additionally, the Scrap Reclamation system allows engineers to transform useless items into valuable reagents for other professions.

We’ve tried to provide you with the fastest and most cost‑effective way to level the profession. However, you may need slightly more resources due to the random nature of leveling. Some yellow and orange recipes may not yield the desired results, so keep a close eye on your remaining resources after learning and crafting each recipe.

There is no specific path for further leveling that guarantees quick progress to the desired level.

At this stage, you’ll stop unlocking new recipes that can be used for leveling. Instead, you have two options:

1. Craft special toys — an expensive but effective way to level up to 100.
2. Obtain new recipes once per day via the Invention ability.

If you choose to craft toys, we recommend making the Camera Without Film. This is the most cost‑effective method to reach level 100 compared to other craftable items.
