Engineering The War Within
Where to Learn Engineering?
Leveling Engineering from 1 to 40
We’ve tried to provide you with the fastest and most cost‑effective way to level up the profession, but you might need slightly more resources, as leveling has a small degree of randomness. Some yellow and orange recipes might not yield the desired result, so carefully monitor how many resources you have left after learning each recipe.
To level up, you’ll need to gather the following ingredients:
- Heap of Rusted Scrap — 85 ×
- Bismuth — 32 ×
- Handful of Bismuth Bolts — 80 ×
- Spinning Gear — 20 ×
- Fancy Wires — 20 ×
We recommend selecting the lowest quality of all reagents —
, as the quality of the reagent does not affect the speed of profession leveling, allowing you to save on materials.
Once you’ve gathered or purchased the required resources, you can begin crafting.

Leveling Engineering from 40 to 100
Further profession leveling does not follow any specific path that would allow you to quickly gain the required level.
The reason is that you will no longer receive recipes that can be used for leveling. Instead, you will have two options:
- Craft special toys — this is a very expensive but effective way to level the profession up to 100.
- Obtain recipes once per day using the Invention ability.
If you choose to craft toys, we recommend making the Camera Without Film. This is the most cost‑effective way to reach level 100 compared to other craftable items.
