Asset Advocator

Asset Advocator is a ground mount in the form of a goblin shredder, added in patch 11.1 "Undermine(d)". It is a mechanical mount with a distinctive industrial design in orange tones, typical of goblin engineering.

The mount is purchased from the vendor Skedgit Cinderbangs for 25 Miscellaneous Mechanica — a rare currency farmed in the Undermine zone.

• The Apprentice Riding skill or higher

1. Complete the main The War Within story campaign (the "Khaz Algar" storyline)
2. Head to the Foundation Hall in Dornogal and speak with Renzik "The Shiv"
3. Accept the quest "When Opportunity Explodes"
4. Follow the quest chain to the Gutterside Rocket Station in The Ringing Deeps
5. After completing the intro quest, you will be sent straight to Undermine by rocket
6. On arrival at Slam Central Station, talk to Rustol across the way — he gives the quest "Test Run", which opens the teleport back to Dornogal

Once unlocked, the teleport is available to all characters on the account.

To unlock Skedgit Cinderbangs's vendor interface and be able to buy mounts, you must complete a chain of five quests — the so-called "Heist":

After completing the quest "The Getaway", Skedgit Cinderbangs starts selling mounts. The quest chain takes 15–20 minutes and is available right after arriving in Undermine.

Skedgit Cinderbangs is located in the Venture Co. building, south of The Heaps flight point.

To buy all three mounts you will need 75 units of Miscellaneous Mechanica.

Miscellaneous Mechanica are spare parts, "good enough to use in various contraptions". The item is account-bound and stacks up to 100.

Realistic Farming Rates

Miscellaneous Mechanica is one of the slowest currencies to farm in patch 11.1. According to player reports:

• On average, 1–2 units per week with daily farming on a single character
• Players with 18 alts gathered about 46 units over 43 days of active farming
• The main sources are rares and paragon caches
• Farming priority: Cartel summoned elites > paragon caches > regular rares

• Start with the quest chain. The very first thing after arriving in Undermine is to complete the Skedgit Cinderbangs quest chain to unlock the vendor interface. Without it, buying the mount is impossible.
• Kill every rare. With such a low drop chance (~5%), every rare you kill is a chance to get closer to your goal. Use addons like RareScanner or SilverDragon to track rare spawns.
• Don't ignore paragon caches. Level up reputation with all four Undermine cartels. Paragon caches provide a steady stream of currency with a ~50% chance.
• Farm on alts. Miscellaneous Mechanica is account-bound, so you can collect it on all level 80 characters and spend it on one.
• Summoned elites are the priority. Cartel elites have a higher drop chance and can be farmed repeatedly. Watch the zone chat for announcements of these mobs spawning.
• Be patient. At the current farming rate (1–2 units per week per character), buying the mount for 25 units will take several weeks of active farming. Several alts will speed up the process significantly.
• The mount can be sold. Asset Advocator is bind on use, not bind on pickup. If you change your mind, you can sell it at the auction house or give it to another player.
