Astral Emperor's Serpent

Astral Emperor's Serpent is a flying cloud serpent mount with a golden coloration and celestial patterns across its scales. The mount was added in patch 10.2.7 (May 7, 2024) as part of the WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event and is a reward for the Everblooming Field meta-achievement.

The item's flavor text references the legend of Pandaria's last emperor: "After the freed Emperor Shaohao gave his last breath for his people, a golden serpent descended from the heavens to carry the emperor's spirit to the peaks of Kun-Lai."

Note: the Remix: Mists of Pandaria event concluded on August 20, 2024, so the mount is currently unobtainable for new collectors. No announcements about the event's return have been made. This guide stays relevant in case Remix relaunches or an alternative source appears.

• Unique celestial coloration — a cloud serpent with golden scales and starlight highlights, echoing the model of the Astral Cloud Serpent but with its own flair.
• Flying and ground — the mount works as a ground mount (+60% / +100% speed) and as a flying mount (+150%, +280%, or +310% depending on your riding skill).
• Lore tie to Shaohao — connected to the story of Pandaria's last emperor, which is especially valuable for collectors of Pandaria mounts.
• Account-wide — once earned on a timerunner character, the mount unlocks automatically for all your characters on retail.
• Limited-reward status — it carries collector's value for those who managed to earn it during the event window of May 16 – August 20, 2024.

The only path to the mount is completing the Everblooming Field meta-achievement on a timerunner character during the active Remix: Mists of Pandaria event. The meta-achievement requires closing two of four sub-achievements in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms zone.

1. Create a timerunner character in Remix: Mists of Pandaria mode (available during the active event).
2. Level up to where the Vale of Eternal Blossoms opens (the corresponding leveling phase in Remix).
3. Complete any two of the sub-achievements listed below.
4. Receive the automatic reward — Reins of the Astral Emperor's Serpent — in your mailbox or straight into your mount collection.
5. The mount becomes available on your retail characters in the account-wide collection.

For the Everblooming Field meta-achievement you must close 2 of 4 of the achievements listed below on a timerunner character.

Looking For Group: Vale of Eternal Blossoms

For Looking For Group: Vale of Eternal Blossoms you need to complete the following group activities on a timerunner character:

• Mogu'shan Palace (Heroic)
• Scarlet Halls (Heroic)
• Scarlet Monastery (Heroic)
• Scholomance (Heroic)
• Raid Finder: Terrace of Endless Spring

This is the fastest route if you actively play dungeons. Looking For Group and Raid Finder work as usual — join the relevant queue window and earn credit.

The Golden Lotus

The Golden Lotus requires reaching Exalted reputation with the faction of the same name. The fastest method:

• Daily quests at the Setting Sun Garrison in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms (about 30 minutes a day)
• Additional mob farming around the Guo-Lai Ruins (15–20 minutes per session)
• Using reputation buffs and items from the Remix system

The August Celestials

For The August Celestials you need Exalted with the August Celestials faction. The introductory dailies are given by Sage Whiteheart (Alliance) or Sage Lotusbloom (Horde) at the Timeless Bazaar. Further quests at one of the four Celestials grant 1,100–1,300 reputation for completing the chain.

Elusive Foes: Vale of Eternal Blossoms

For Elusive Foes: Vale of Eternal Blossoms you need to kill 3 of the 8 rare NPCs in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Rare respawn is approximately 1–2 hours.

• Major Nanners
• Sele'na
• Kal'tik the Blight
• Karr the Darkener
• Urgolax
• Ai-Ran the Shifting Cloud
• Moldo One-Eye
• Yorik Sharpeye

If the Remix event returns in the future, the most efficient combination for earning the mount looks like this:

1. Looking For Group + Golden Lotus — the optimal combination for most players. Dungeons grant experience and gear for leveling your timerunner, while the Golden Lotus farms faster than any other reputation through dailies in the Vale.
2. Looking For Group + Elusive Foes — for those who prefer PvE content and rare hunting, without reputation grinding.
3. Golden Lotus + August Celestials — the slowest but "complete" reputation route, suited to collectors farming Overwhelming Power in parallel.

Average timeframe: with active play of 2–3 hours a day, the meta-achievement closes in 5–10 days.

The WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event ran from May 16, 2024 to August 20, 2024. After the event ended, the mount gained "limited reward" status — it remains in the collection of those who earned it in time, but is not granted to new players.

• The mount cannot be bought from the auction house, the Blizzard shop, or NPC vendors.
• The Everblooming Field achievement is unavailable outside the active Remix event.
• Blizzard has not announced the event's return or an alternative source.
• If a Remix season relaunches, the conditions may change.
