Get Astral Gladiator's Fel Bat mount

The Astral Gladiator's Fel Bat is a flying mount awarded for completing the PvP achievement Gladiator: The War Within Season 3. It is one of the most prestigious rewards in the game: statistically, fewer than 1% of players earn the Gladiator mount in any given PvP season.

The mount is a fel bat in a Void color palette — dark-purple skin with bronze armor and cosmic flame effects on the pauldrons and wings. Its visual style matches the theme of Patch 11.2, "Ghosts of K'aresh."

The Astral Gladiator's Fel Bat is the third and final fel bat mount in the The War Within line. The first season awarded the Forged Gladiator's Fel Bat, and the second awarded the Prized Gladiator's Fel Bat.

The mount is the reward for the achievement Gladiator: The War Within Season 3. This achievement belongs to the Feats of Strength category and requires:

Win 50 games in 3v3 arena at Elite rank during The War Within Season 3.

To earn the mount, you must meet three conditions at the same time:

1. Reach a 2400+ rating in 3v3 arena — this automatically grants Elite rank
2. Win 50 games in 3v3 arena while holding Elite rank
3. Do this during The War Within Season 3 (August 12, 2025 – January 20, 2026)

Important Details

• If your rating drops below 2375, you lose Elite rank. Wins earned without Elite rank do not count toward the 50-win tally
• You need to climb back to 2400 rating to continue accumulating wins
• Only 3v3 games count. 2v2 arena, Solo Shuffle, and Battleground Blitz do not qualify
• Once the season ends, the achievement becomes permanently unavailable

Step 1: Prepare Your Character

• Reach level 80 (the level cap in The War Within)
• Get the current season's PvP gear — you can buy it with Honor Points and Conquest Points from PvP vendors
• Learn the current PvP talents for your specialization

Step 2: Build a 3v3 Arena Team

Gladiator is available only through 3v3 arena, so you need a consistent team of three players. Recommendations:

• Choose a viable composition (a trio of specializations that work well together)
• Find partners of comparable skill level through the in-game group finder or PvP communities
• Agree on a regular practice schedule — climbing to 2400 rating takes hundreds of games

Step 3: Climb to a 2400 Rating

The arena rating system works as follows:

Each win adds rating; each loss subtracts it. The higher you climb, the tougher your opponents become.

Step 4: Win 50 Games at Elite Rank

Once you reach a 2400 rating, the count toward 50 wins begins. Your progress is shown on the achievements tab. Remember:

• Wins count only while your rating is 2400 or higher
• If your rating drops below 2375, Elite rank is lost and wins stop counting
• Previously earned wins are preserved — you don't have to start over

Step 5: Claim the Mount

After your 50th win, the achievement completes automatically. The mount appears in your mount collection and becomes available to all characters on your account.

Choosing a Class and Specialization

Not all specializations are equally strong in the arena. Before starting your path to Gladiator, study the current meta balance:

• Check the rating leaderboards on the official World of Warcraft website
• Study the statistics of popular compositions on dedicated resources
• Pick the class you have the most experience with — knowing how to play your character matters more than the current balance

Gear

PvP modes apply stat templating, but gear still matters:

• Buy PvP gear with Conquest Points, which you earn from wins in rated arena
• Upgrade your gear to the highest available item level
• Choose suitable trinkets — PvP trinkets are mandatory for the arena

The War Within Season 3 ended on January 20, 2026. The achievement "Gladiator: The War Within Season 3" belongs to the Feats of Strength category and is no longer available. If you did not earn the mount during the season, there is no other way to obtain it.

Gladiator mounts from past seasons never return to the game. Each new PvP season offers its own unique mount with the same requirement — 50 wins in 3v3 arena at Elite rank.
