Even the farthest corners of Azeroth have heard tales of a terrifying dragon said to have razed cities like sandcastles. According to one version, it blazed with scorching flame, drowning the world in blood and unleashing horrific cataclysms. Another version claims it is blue.

The Azure World‑Shatterer is a mount awarded once a year during the World of Warcraft anniversary event. Despite the narrow time window, obtaining this mount is fairly straightforward.

You need to go to a special area in Tanaris and defeat the boss Doomherald, who stands near the Caverns of Time.

Reaching the Caverns of Time is simple: just head to your faction’s Portal Room, find the portal to the Caverns of Time, and you’ll be transported to the cave entrance — where the boss awaits.

The event repeats every year, but the mount does not change. If you’ve already obtained it, you won’t receive the mount again from defeating the boss a second time. However, this won’t stop you from enjoying the anniversary celebration and earning other valuable rewards.
