Overview

Bloodgorged Crawg

Game iconBloodgorged Crawg is a rare ground mount added in patch 8.0.1 of the Battle for Azeroth expansion. It is a massive crawg, a creature from the swamps of Nazmir, left to feast on the tainted blood and rot of G'huun. The mount is the reward for the meta-achievement Glory of the Uldir Raider, which requires completing eight special achievements in the Uldir raid.

The crawg is a large four-legged reptile with a massive maw and thick hide covered in crimson splotches of blood. The mount model is unique — it is one of the few crawgs available as a riding animal.

Why You Want This Mount

  • Guaranteed acquisition — unlike mounts with a percentage drop chance, the Bloodgorged Crawg is awarded for an achievement. Once you complete all eight achievements in Uldir, the mount is yours
  • Unique crawg model — it is one of two crawgs available since the release of Battle for Azeroth. Crawgs live only in Nazmir, and the mount lets you ride one of these unusual creatures
  • Available to all characters — once obtained, the mount becomes available on every character on your account
  • Solo content — the Uldir raid is significantly outdated and most achievements can be completed alone at max level, making the mount obtainable without a group
  • Collector's prestige — a "Glory of the Raider" achievement is the calling card of a seasoned player. A crawg in a mount parade draws attention precisely because of its rarity

How to Get It

To obtain the mount you must complete the meta-achievement Glory of the Uldir Raider, which includes eight separate achievements — one for each raid boss. All achievements are completed on Normal difficulty or higher.

  1. Travel to the Uldir raid in Nazmir (Zandalar)
  2. Enter the raid on Normal difficulty or higher
  3. Complete all eight achievements listed below
  4. After completing the final achievement, the mount Game iconBloodgorged Crawg will be sent to you via in-game mail
  5. Use the item from the mail to learn the mount

How to Reach Uldir

Uldir is the first raid of the Battle for Azeroth expansion, located in the center of Nazmir on the territory of Zandalar. The raid entrance is in the southeastern part of the Altar of Rot.

For Horde Characters

  1. Use the portal to Zandalar from the capital of your current expansion or a hearthstone set to Zandalar
  2. Travel to Nazmir — use a flight point to the Ruins of Zul'jan or Hatuun's Camp
  3. Fly to the center of Nazmir, to the Altar of Rot (coordinates approximately 54, 63)
  4. Descend into the crater and find the raid entrance — it is located beyond the entrance to the Underrot dungeon

For Alliance Characters

  1. Use the portal to Boralus, then reach Nazmir via flight points
  2. If flight points in Nazmir are not unlocked, fly to the nearest available point and head toward the center of the zone
  3. Find the Altar of Rot and descend into the crater to the entrance of Uldir

All Glory of the Uldir Raider Achievements

The meta-achievement includes eight achievements. A detailed description of each is provided below.

1. Background Noise — Taloc

Achievement: Background Noise — defeat Taloc in Uldir after activating all Orbs of Harmony on Normal difficulty or higher.

How to complete:

In the second phase of the fight, Taloc descends on an elevator platform. During the descent, four glowing Orbs of Harmony appear in random positions within the elevator shaft. You must collect all four orbs before the platform reaches the bottom.

  • The orbs are located in four diagonal directions (northeast, northwest, southeast, southwest) and their positions are random on each attempt
  • When soloing, use classes with high mobility: a Demon Hunter (Glide + Fel Rush) is ideal for collecting all the orbs
  • If you fail to collect all the orbs during one descent, you can reset the fight and try again — the orb positions will change

2. Parental Controls — MOTHER

Achievement: Parental Controls — defeat MOTHER in Uldir by entering her secret access code on Normal difficulty or higher.

How to complete:

In each of the three rooms of the MOTHER fight, interactive buttons are placed on the walls (two per room, but both buttons in a room duplicate each other). You need to press the buttons in the correct order — this is the "secret code."

  • The code consists of three presses (one in each room) and is randomized on each attempt
  • There are six possible combinations in total (123, 132, 213, 231, 312, 321)
  • Press a button in the first room: if it becomes inactive, it was the correct first press. If it stays active, reset and try a different order
  • When soloing, simply find the code by trial and error — the boss poses no threat at max level

3. What's in the Box? — Zek'voz

Achievement: What's in the Box? — defeat Zek'voz, Herald of N'Zoth, in Uldir by opening the Catalog of Power on Normal difficulty or higher.

How to complete:

During the fight with Zek'voz, an interactive object appears in the hall — the Catalog of Power. You need to open it before killing the boss.

  • The catalog appears at a certain point in the fight — keep an eye on your surroundings
  • When soloing, do not kill the boss too quickly, so you have time to find and activate the Catalog
  • After activating the Catalog, you can finish off the boss

4. Bad Blood — Vectis

Achievement: Bad Blood — defeat Vectis in Uldir by infecting a Rakkali Warmonger with a Plague Bomb on Normal difficulty or higher.

How to complete:

The Rakkali Warmonger is an NPC standing on the staircase in front of the entrance to Vectis's room (near the path leading to Zul). You need to drag it into the fight and infect it with the boss's ability.

  • In the second phase, Vectis creates Plague Bomb circles on the floor that must be "absorbed" (stand on them)
  • Lead the Rakkali Warmonger to one of these circles and wait until the bomb explodes and infects it
  • After infecting the Rakkali, finish off the boss
  • When soloing, first bring the Rakkali, then start the fight with Vectis and wait for the second phase

5. Bruising Championship — Fetid Devourer

Achievement: Bruising Championship — defeat the Fetid Devourer in Uldir, ensuring that every raid member is hit by the Thrashing Terror ability on Normal difficulty or higher.

How to complete:

Thrashing Terror is an ability of the Fetid Devourer that it periodically uses on the second target on the threat table. Every player in the raid must be hit by it at least once.

  • When soloing, the achievement is completed automatically, since you are the only raid member and will receive the thrashing in any case
  • In a group, you must take turns standing in for the hit by holding second place on the threat table
  • The boss enrages at 50% health, so it is recommended to make sure all players have been hit before this threshold

6. Lords of the Edge — Zul

Achievement: Lords of the Edge — defeat Zul, Reborn, in Uldir without any player stepping on the inner ring of the Gates of Oblivion on Normal difficulty or higher.

How to complete:

The arena for the Zul fight is a circular platform with the Gates of Oblivion in the center. The inner ring of the gates is a forbidden zone you must not step on.

  • Fight at the edge of the platform, avoiding the central area
  • At 40% health, Zul casts a powerful knockback — position yourself with your back to the wall so you are not thrown off the platform or pushed into the center
  • When soloing at max level the fight ends quickly, but watch your positioning during the knockback
  • Ranged classes have it easier with this achievement, since they can attack the boss while standing at the very edge

7. Existential Crisis — Mythrax

Achievement: Existential Crisis — defeat Mythrax the Unraveler in Uldir without any player picking up an Existence Fragment spawned by another player on Normal difficulty or higher.

How to complete:

When Mythrax strikes a player with certain abilities, Existence Fragments (glowing spheres) appear around that player. You may only pick up your own fragments.

  • When soloing, the achievement is completed automatically — all fragments belong to you, and there simply are no fragments from others
  • In a group, players must spread out and pick up only their own spheres, avoiding those of others
  • It is recommended to assign each player their own zone so the fragments do not get mixed up

8. Double Dribble — G'huun

Achievement: Double Dribble — defeat G'huun in Uldir without any player moving while holding a Power Matrix on Normal difficulty or higher.

How to complete:

In the fight with G'huun, players must carry Power Matrices and place them at certain points. For this achievement you must not move while holding the Matrix — instead, you need to pass it to other players.

  • The pass is performed via a special action button: throw the Matrix to a player standing 20 yards in front of you
  • After throwing the Matrix, wait until the next player picks it up, then run forward and stand in front of them for the next pass
  • Do not move while the Matrix is with you or in flight toward you
  • When soloing at max level, the boss dies before the Matrix mechanic begins, so the achievement counts automatically

Solo Clearing Tips

The Uldir raid was released in the Battle for Azeroth expansion and is significantly outdated. At max level (90 in Midnight), most bosses die within a few seconds.

General Recommendations

  • Difficulty — enter on Normal difficulty. This is the minimum difficulty for achievements to count, and bosses die faster
  • Class — a Demon Hunter is ideal thanks to its high mobility (Glide, Fel Rush), which is especially useful for the "Background Noise" achievement
  • Multiple visits — not all achievements need to be done in one run. The meta-achievement counts once all eight achievements are completed, regardless of when and in what order
  • Reset the raid — if you fail an attempt at an achievement, leave the raid, reset all dungeons via the portrait context menu, and re-enter

Achievements Requiring Attention When Soloing

  • Background Noise — the only achievement requiring active effort when soloing. Collect all four orbs in the elevator shaft during Taloc's second phase
  • Parental Controls — find the code by trial and error. At max level you have plenty of time to experiment
  • Bad Blood — don't forget to bring the Rakkali Warmonger from the staircase before starting the fight with Vectis
  • Lords of the Edge — watch your positioning during the knockback at 40% of Zul's health
  • Bruising Championship, Existential Crisis, Double Dribble — count automatically when soloing
  • What's in the Box? — don't kill Zek'voz too quickly; wait for the Catalog of Power to appear

Boss Order in Uldir

The raid consists of three wings:

  1. Halls of Containment: Taloc, MOTHER, Zek'voz
  2. Crimson Descent: Fetid Devourer, Vectis, Zul
  3. Heart of Corruption: Mythrax, G'huun

Tips

1

Start with the easy achievements — on your first run, complete the achievements that count automatically when soloing (Bruising Championship, Existential Crisis, Double Dribble), then focus on the harder ones

2

Track your progress — open the achievements window (Y key) and find "Glory of the Uldir Raider" to see which achievements are already done

3

Weekly reset — the raid resets once a week. If you don't complete all achievements in one run, return the following week

4

Rakkali Warmonger — for the "Bad Blood" achievement, be sure to find the Rakkali Warmonger on the staircase before Vectis's room before the fight begins. If you accidentally killed it or it disappeared, you'll have to wait for the raid reset

5

Don't rush on Zek'voz — if you deal too much damage, Zek'voz may die before the Catalog of Power appears. Remove some gear or use less powerful abilities to stretch out the fight

6

The mount is account-wide — complete the achievements on whichever character is most convenient. The Bloodgorged Crawg will become available to all your characters after you obtain it
