Bracer of Hrestimorak
Overview

Bracer of Hrestimorak is an epic ground mount added to World of Warcraft in the Shadowlands expansion (patch 9.1, "Chains of Domination"). It is a creepy skeletal hand that moves on its fingers — one of four "crawling" mounts that arrived alongside the Sanctum of Domination raid. The item teaches a mount summoning spell called "Hand of Hrestimorak."
The mount is awarded for completing the meta-achievement Glory of the Dominant Raider, which consists of ten separate achievements — one for each boss of the raid. Once all ten achievements are completed, the
Bracer of Hrestimorak will be delivered to you by in-game mail automatically.
Why You Want This Mount
- Unique model — a skeletal hand crawling on its fingers, unlike any other mount in the game. It joins the rest of the "hand" mounts in your collection:
Bracelet of Salaranga and
Hand of Nilganihmaht - Epic quality — most mounts from raid meta-achievements are of epic rank, and this one is no exception
- Solo farming in Midnight — at level 90 the Shadowlands raid clears freely solo on Normal difficulty, with the exception of one achievement that requires four players
- Account-wide — once obtained, the mount unlocks for all characters
How to Get It
The main path is to clear the Sanctum of Domination raid on Normal difficulty or higher and complete all ten sub-achievements of the meta Glory of the Dominant Raider.
- Reach max level and gain access to the Shadowlands. To enter the Maw you will need the expansion's intro completed
- Make your way to the raid entrance in Desmotaeron (the northern part of the Maw), at the Helgarde fortress. The portal is at the back of the fortress
- Set the difficulty to Normal or higher (on Mythic some achievements are easier thanks to the fixed 20-player roster, but everything can be done on Normal too)
- Defeat each of the ten bosses while completing the corresponding achievement
- For the achievement This World is a Prism you will need a group of four players — the other nine achievements can be farmed solo
- After closing out the tenth achievement, open your mail — the
Bracer of Hrestimorak will be waiting there
Requirements and Preparation
The farm is designed for a max-level Midnight character. At level 90 almost all Shadowlands content can be cleared solo without difficulty, but there are a couple of nuances.
- Access to the Shadowlands — the Shadowlands intro quest chain that opens Oribos and the Maw must be completed. Without it you simply cannot enter the zone with the raid
- A group for one achievement — This World is a Prism at Sylvanas Windrunner requires exactly four players who simultaneously pick up prisms and activate them on the covenant platforms. Arrange it with friends in advance or find a group in the group finder
- Difficulty — most achievements are completed the same way on any difficulty. If you plan to clear everything solo, choose Normal difficulty — it can be switched right inside the raid
- Gear — at level 90 in Midnight no special preparation is required. Any item set you play with at max level will do
- An extra action button — several achievements (for example, Together Forever at Kel'Thuzad) hinge on pressing an extra action button. Find it on your bar ahead of time and bind a convenient key
List of the Ten Achievements
| Boss | Achievement | Brief Summary |
|---|---|---|
| The Tarragrue | The Best Couple | Two players take special anima power effects and reunite the NPCs Moriaz and Button before killing the boss |
| The Eye of the Jailer | Those Eyes Across the Way | In the second phase, photograph the entire group with the boss in the background using the selfie camera |
| The Nine | Nine of Fates | Pass nine shards of fate to a single player (usually the tank) before the boss creates a shield of fate |
| Remnant of Ner'zhul | We Trained in the Sewers Back Home | Throw three orbs of torment into the suspended chains during the fight |
| Soulrender Dormazain | Tormentor's Tango | Have the whole group pull aggro off Garrosh before the fight and avoid all damage from the "Torment" ability |
| Painsmith Raznal | Soulbreaker | Activate a lever that increases difficulty before the fight begins and deal with the extra burning souls |
| Guardian of the First Ones | Knowledge is Power | Lead an NPC through beams of shining energy to "enlighten" it, and defeat it together with the boss |
| Fatescribe Roh-Kalo | Flawless Fate | Take no damage from three specific boss abilities for the entire fight |
| Kel'Thuzad | Together Forever | Pet Mr. Bigglesworth the cat in two locations of the raid, then bring him to the phylactery and press "Cat Delivery" in the second phase |
| Sylvanas Windrunner | This World is a Prism | Four players pick up covenant prisms in the second phase and activate them on the corresponding platforms in the final phase |
How to Enter the Raid
The entrance to the Sanctum of Domination is deep within the Maw — the Maldraxxus, Revendreth and Ardenweald zones have nothing to do with it.
- Take a portal or teleport spell to Oribos. On the upper level of the city there is a jump point in the center — it will drop you into the Maw
- From your starting platform in the Maw, head northeast to the Desmotaeron zone. At level 90 you can fly in the Maw
- Find the Helgarde fortress in the northern part of Desmotaeron. The portal into the raid is located at the back of the fortress, at roughly coordinates [70, 32]
- If you have previously killed Kel'Thuzad four times on the same difficulty, you will have the active skip quest Sanctum of Domination - Damned If You Don't, which lets you skip some bosses on repeat runs
- Inside the raid, set Normal difficulty for a solo clear and defeat all the bosses, closing out the achievements along the way
Optimizing the Farm
A Single Run
Unlike drop mounts, the
Bracer of Hrestimorak is earned once. There is no need to repeat the raid for the mount — you just have to complete all ten achievements at least once on your account.
- Plan your evening in advance: a full clear with all achievements takes 40–90 minutes depending on experience
- Make sure you have started the Together Forever chain — you need to pet the cat before the Kel'Thuzad fight, in different parts of the raid. If you miss it, you will have to come back after a reset
- For the photo achievement, don't forget to acquire a selfie camera (S.E.L.F.I.E.) in advance
What to Do About the Prism
The only achievement that requires helpers is This World is a Prism at Sylvanas. Your options:
- Gather a group of four friends — the fastest way, especially if everyone already wants to close out the meta-achievement
- Find a group in the group finder — open groups for exactly this mount are formed from time to time. Search by keywords "Bracer of Hrestimorak," "Sanctum of Domination"
- Use a guild or community — old meta-achievements are easily closed out through weekly events
Boss Clearing Order
- Start with The Tarragrue and proceed in sequence toward Sylvanas — the raid is linear, but after the first kills teleports open up between the wings
- Before each boss, check exactly which trigger is needed for the achievement: some (like "Tormentor's Tango") require actions before the fight begins
- If an achievement didn't register due to a mistake, just leave the raid, reset it and repeat — the meta-achievement progress is not lost between attempts
Tips
Read the achievement description before the boss — open the achievement window right in the raid and follow the steps. Most conditions are activated with a single press or interaction with an object
Save the cat for last — Together Forever requires petting the cat before the Kel'Thuzad fight. Don't kill the boss until you've done all the petting, or the raid will have to be reset
Wait for the right phase for the selfie — the photo must be taken in the second phase of the Eye of the Jailer. If you snap the shot too early, the achievement won't register
Don't forget about difficulty — switch to Normal for a solo clear. On Mythic many bosses won't go down solo even at level 90, and the mount reward does not depend on difficulty
Kel'Thuzad skip — if you have already completed the quest Sanctum of Domination - Damned If You Don't, use the teleports between wings to reach Sylvanas faster and close out the prism
Parallel progress — other collectible rewards are farmed in the same raid (transmog, difficulty achievements). Close everything in one run so you don't have to come back
Account-wide mount — once obtained, the
Bracer of Hrestimorak becomes available on all characters, so pick your strongest one for the run
