Get Brewfest Ram mount
Overview

Brewfest Ram is a rare ground mount that was available during the very first Brewfest in 2007. It is a brown ram with festive tack and kegs strapped to its sides. The mount is one of the rarest means of transport in the game, since it can no longer be obtained by new players — access to its purchase was closed after the first Brewfest.
Why You Want This Mount
- Extremely rare — available only to players who took part in the 2007 Brewfest and completed a special quest
- A unique brown ram model with festive trappings — kegs and a holiday harness
- Collector's rarity status — one of the few mounts permanently removed from the game
- An excellent choice for roleplaying dwarf characters and fans of beer-themed flavor
- Don't confuse it with the
Swift Brewfest Ram, which can still be obtained today
Mount Source
The Brewfest Ram was bought from vendors during the Brewfest event. To purchase it, you first had to acquire and turn in a special item — the "Honorary Brewer" Hand Stamp.
Historical Acquisition Chain (2007)
- During the very first Brewfest (2007), players earned Brewfest Prize Tokens by completing the event's daily quests and mini-games
- For 600 tokens you could buy the "Honorary Brewer" Hand Stamp from the vendor Belbi Quikswitch in Dun Morogh (Alliance) or Blix Fixwidget in Durotar (Horde)
- The hand stamp started a quest, and after turning it in your character gained permanent access to purchasing Brewfest rams
- The mount itself was bought for 10 gold from the vendors:
- Pol Amberstill — for the Alliance, at the festival grounds in Dun Morogh
- Driz Tumblequick — for the Horde, at the festival grounds in Durotar
Current Availability Status
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| New players | The mount is unavailable. The hand stamp is no longer sold and the quest is closed |
| 2007 veterans | If you turned in the hand stamp back in 2007, you can buy the ram every year during Brewfest from the same vendors for 10 gold |
Important: The "Honorary Brewer" Hand Stamp was available only during the first Brewfest in 2007. Starting in 2008, the event's reward system was completely reworked, and the stamp was removed from sale forever.
How to Reach the Brewfest Grounds
If you are one of those rare players who turned in the hand stamp in 2007, here is how to reach the vendors:
Alliance
- Head to Ironforge
- Exit the city through the main gates into Dun Morogh
- The Brewfest grounds are located right by the entrance to Ironforge
- Find the vendor Pol Amberstill and buy the mount for 10 gold
Horde
- Head to Orgrimmar
- Exit through the southern gates into Durotar
- The Brewfest grounds are located near the entrance to Orgrimmar
- Find the vendor Driz Tumblequick and buy the mount for 10 gold
Tips and Tricks
- Check your collection. If you have been playing since 2007, open your mount journal and check whether you have access to purchasing the Brewfest Ram. Many veterans forget that they turned in the hand stamp
- Farm the Swift Ram on alts. Although the increased drop chance applies only to your first attempt of the day, each alt gets its own chest — that means extra chances
- Prepare your alts in advance. To receive the mount chest, a character must be high enough level. Level up your alts before the event begins
- Use every day of the event. Brewfest lasts about two weeks. Don't skip a single day — every miss lowers your chances
- Other rewards. Besides mounts, Coren Direbrew's chest drops
Brewfest Prize Tokens, epic trinkets, and other themed items
