Its Mount Journal description reads: "Good boy. Or girl. It's hard to tell at a glance. But definitely a good one." The Brown-Furred Spiky Bakar first appeared in the Trading Post rotation in May 2025. Visually, it is a recolor of Taivan — the legendary bakar mount earned by completing the A World Awoken meta-achievement from Dragonflight.

How to Earn Trader's Tender

Monthly bonus (500 tender). Each month you receive 500 Trader's Tender for free — just visit the Trading Post and claim the chest. This is the main source of tender.

Traveler's Log (up to 500 tender). Open the Adventure Guide (Shift+J) and switch to the Traveler's Log tab. Each month a list of activities appears here: dungeons, world quests, battlegrounds, and other pursuits. Completing each task grants additional Trader's Tender.

Saving up. Unspent tender carries over to the next month. The maximum reserve is 5,000 tender. If you already have savings from previous months, you can buy the mount immediately when it appears in the rotation.

Item Rotation

The Trading Post inventory refreshes every month. Items you do not buy leave the shop and return in future rotations. Exact return dates are not announced in advance, but popular items do reappear.

If you are short on tender for the item you want, you can "freeze" one lot — it will be reserved for you and remain available until the end of the following month.

The Brown-Furred Spiky Bakar is a rotational Trading Post item. It is not sold permanently but appears in the catalog for a given month.
