Fists of the Heavens is the Monk class (Monk) Windwalker artifact fist weapon that debuted in the Legion expansion. It is the legendary specialization weapon around which the entire combat fantasy of the melee monk was built during that period.

Visually, it is a pair of glowing knuckles in sky-blue and golden tones, styled after the halls of the August Celestials of Pandaria. The model literally radiates the energy of wind and storm, making it one of the most striking melee weapon options for a monk. The flavor text nods to the lore: "When Irmaat took his weapon in hand and tested its power, uncontrollable fury was unleashed upon the world."

Fists of the Heavens is an artifact weapon that a monk obtains through their class artifact story chain.

• The base appearance is granted during the introductory artifact chain of the Windwalker school: the monk sets out for the weapon and brings it back to the class order hall.
• Right now the weapon is easiest to obtain through the Legion Remix event, where the artifact chains and their appearances are available.
• Additional color variants unlock through Legion content progression: completing the story campaigns of the Broken Isles zones, class order hall tasks, and the monk campaign.
• The hidden appearance is tied to a separate quest chain — for it you must fulfill a special condition within the event or original Legion content.
• The weapon is unique to the Windwalker specialization, so only a monk of that school can collect it.

Like all artifacts, once unlocked the appearance is saved to the appearance collection and remains available to the monk even after the event ends.

Fists of the Heavens has several of its own color variants that unlock through different achievements and stages of Legion content — these are the main "recolors" of this weapon. The base and upgraded variants differ in the color of their glow and the detailing.
