Enhancement Shaman is a dual-wielding melee fighter who runs on mana and stacks 
Maelstrom Weapon to instantly cast 
Lightning Bolt, 
Chain Lightning and healing right in the middle of combat.
It's a hybrid: physical strikes like 
Stormstrike and 
Lava Lash blend with elemental damage that scales off mastery. In a raid, Enhancement delivers strong multi-target damage, off-healing and all the core shaman utility, including 
Bloodlust/
Heroism and the 
Stormlash Totem.
Strengths
- Excellent multi-target damage:
Flame Shock is spread through Lava Lash, followed by 
Fire Nova. - A solid survival kit:
Astral Shift, 
Shamanistic Rage and mobility through 
Ghost Wolf. - Reliable off-healing via instant casts from Maelstrom Weapon,
Ancestral Guidance and the 
Healing Tide Totem. - Brings the raid a Stormlash Totem, Bloodlust/Heroism,
Wind Shear and a 
Grounding Totem. - Agility scales excellently with raid buffs.
- Haste works together with
Flurry and grants more Maelstrom Weapon procs.
Weaknesses
- Single-target damage falls behind dedicated melee specs.
- Utility eats global cooldowns, which are already in short supply.
- Brings no unique buff that other shaman specs don't have.
- Requires a completely separate gear set from Elemental and Restoration.
- The priority hinges on procs and punishes delays.
