Exodar Life-Staff is an epic two-handed staff added to World of Warcraft with The Burning Crusade expansion. The model is an elongated draenei staff with a crystalline head in cold white-and-blue tones, kept in the architectural aesthetic of the Exodar. The look is easy to recognize among draenei weapons thanks to the soft glow of the crystal and the smooth curves of the shaft.
The staff is meant for specializations that use staves as intellect weapons — it suits mages, druids, priests, shamans, warlocks, monks and evokers. The item's stats have long been irrelevant, so today it is taken purely for its appearance: a clean draenei silhouette without excessive detail is valued in transmog sets.

The staff drops from a world boss named Doom Lord Kazzak. He is an elite demon of the Burning Legion who guards the Hellfire Peninsula in Outland.
- Kazzak stands atop the Throne of Kil'jaeden mountain in the northern part of the peninsula, at approximate coordinates "/way 63 16".
- To reach the spot you will need a flying mount — you cannot climb to the mountaintop on foot.
- The boss is a world boss; he does not respawn right after being killed but after 2–4 days, so several visits or a search for a fresh respawn across different game realms may be required.
- The staff's drop chance from Kazzak is about 20 percent, which is considered a high rate for transmog farming.
- The boss is killed solo at max level without any trouble; a separate group is not needed.
The Hellfire Peninsula opens up right after passing through the Dark Portal, so apart from access to Outland there are no special prerequisites for farming.
Who it suits visually
- Fits draenei and "holy" sets in a white-and-blue palette — the crystalline head echoes the architecture of the Exodar.
- Harmonizes with cloth and mail sets in cold shades that need a light magical accent.
- Contrasts with dark demonic and Fel sets — a debatable but expressive choice for a "light against the Legion" look.
- Pairs with healer priest and shaman appearances that call for a restrained silhouette without bulky detail.
Tips
Bring a flying mount with you — without one you cannot reach the Throne of Kil'jaeden.
Before flying out, check whether the boss has appeared: if he was killed recently, you will have to wait 2–4 days for the respawn.
It is more convenient to look for a fresh Kazzak respawn by moving between different game realms through the group finder.
Kazzak also drops other epic The Burning Crusade loot, so farming for the staff brings transmog for other slots along the way.
At max level any class kills the boss in seconds — pick the character with the fastest travel to the summit.
If the staff does not drop, come back at the next respawn: with a chance of around 20 percent, a few attempts usually close out the goal.
