This is a ranged fighter whose primary stat is Intellect. A Shaman of this specialization wields the forces of the elements — fire, ice and lightning — to crush enemies. As a weapon it typically carries a one-handed weapon (mace or dagger) paired with a shield, or a two-handed staff.
The defining feature of the specialization is the 
Mastery: Elemental Overload mechanic. Your spells have a chance to fire a second time, dealing extra damage and granting bonus Maelstrom.
- Maelstrom is the Shaman’s main resource. It builds up while casting core spells (
Lightning Bolt, 
Lava Burst) and is spent on powerful finishing blows. 
Frost Shock and 
Flame Shock are your main tools for control and periodic damage. Keeping Flame Shock up on targets is critical for triggering 
Lava Surge procs.- Totems are a unique utility mechanic. The Shaman can drop totems to slow, stun, remove fear or hasten the group.

Tremor Totem, 
Bloodlust and a short cooldown on spell interrupt. 
Reincarnation (Ankh) — the ability to self-resurrect in combat.
Weaknesses

- Limited mobility (you must stand still to deal your main damage).
- Fragile compared to other mail-wearing classes when taking direct damage.

Leveling Process
The main abilities for leveling will be Lava Burst and Chain Lightning. Use the Earth Elemental to soak damage from elite mobs. Try to keep 
Lightning Shield up on yourself at all times.
Useful Tips for Mythic+ Keys
Capacitor Totem — plan its placement in advance, as it triggers after 2 seconds.
Purge — you can strip beneficial buffs from enemies. In Midnight this is critical on many packs.
Wind Rush Totem — use it to overcome dangerous boss mechanics.
