Unholy Death Knight Guide WoW: Midnight
About the Class
Unholy Death Knight (UDK) is a melee fighter who wields two-handed weapons (swords, axes) and uses various diseases and curses to deal damage. The class has excellent burst damage in both AoE and single-target combat.
Strengths
Very strong burst damage.
Simple rotation that allows you to quickly learn the class and perform well.
Strong defensive abilities for both yourself and the group/raid.
Weaknesses
Small number of abilities, which greatly limits rotation. The class may seem boring to some players.
Single-target damage is inconsistent and depends on selected talents, so it may not always be the highest.
Few abilities that provide crowd control against groups of enemies.

From the very first level you will already have damage-dealing abilities. The main abilities at early levels will be
Outbreak,
Scourge Strike and
Death Strike. As you level up, you will unlock new abilities, gradually building toward the full rotation. We recommend following the ability priority from the rotation section.
Mythic+ Tips
1
If your group has few classes capable of interrupting spells, or you plan to fight many mobs that cast spells, be sure to take the
Cold Thirst talent. When interrupting abilities you will gain 10 Runic Power, and the cooldown of the ability will be reduced by 3 seconds, allowing you to interrupt dangerous enemy spells more often.
2
Take the
Asphyxiate talent if your group lacks crowd control effects. With this ability you can stun a target for 5 seconds, preventing it from casting dangerous spells.
3
Try to use
Death Grip as often as possible on mobs that continuously cast spells and do not move. This ability will interrupt the spell cast and pull the annoying mob to you.
