About the Class

Demon Hunter Devourer is a melee/mid-range DPS that wields two one-handed warglaives. The class has tremendous burst damage in both single-target and AoE, excellent mobility, and a simple rotation.

Pros and Cons

Pros Cons
🟩 Excellent damage in both single-target and AoE. 🟥 Heavy reliance on burst cooldown (Metamorphosis). Without it, the class's damage is mediocre.
🟩 Simple rotation that lets you quickly grasp the class's mechanics and deliver strong results. 🟥 Requires constant movement across the battlefield to collect soul shards, in order to build energy faster and use powerful abilities.
🟩 Provides AoE crowd control and group damage immunity for both raids and parties. 🟥 Very limited number of abilities. The gameplay may feel boring to some players.

Mythic+ Tips

Tip #1

Use Void Eruption and Sigil of Misery to interrupt casts and control groups of enemies.

Tip #2

You can use Shift to more effectively and quickly collect void shards. Try to use this ability as often as possible, as the number of shards collected directly affects your damage output.

Tip #3

The ability Darkness grants your group complete immunity to damage (in a 5-player group). Make sure to use this ability during powerful mob or boss abilities targeting group members. This ability also allows you to skip certain boss mechanics in dungeons, but it requires coordinated play from all players.
