About the Class
This is a ranged caster whose primary stat is Intellect. The Balance Druid is a spellcaster who channels the powers of nature and arcane magic. Taking the form of a Moonkin, the druid unleashes the energy of the moon and sun upon enemies.
A defining feature of the specialization is the management of Astral Power and the Eclipse mechanic (Solar and Lunar), which empower spells depending on the active phase.
Strengths
One of the best distributed AoE damage profiles in the game (multidotting).
High survivability thanks to Bear Form and increased armor.
Group buff granting 3% Versatility.
Unique utility: Solar Beam, Rebirth, and Typhoon.
Weaknesses
Low mobility: many spells require you to stand still.
Damage depends heavily on proper Eclipse phase management.
Ramp-up time is required before damage peaks.
