Balance Druid Guide for Midnight Season 2 (Patch 12.1)
About the Spec
This is a ranged fighter whose primary stat is Intellect. The Balance Druid is a spellcaster who wields the powers of nature and arcane magic. Taking the form of a Moonkin, the druid unleashes the energy of the moon and sun upon enemies. The defining feature of the specialization is managing Astral Power and the Eclipse mechanic (Solar and Lunar), which empower spells depending on the active phase.
Strengths
- One of the best spread AoE damage profiles in the game (multi-dotting).
- High survivability thanks to Bear Form and armor.
- A group buff granting 3% Versatility.
- Unique utility: Solar Beam, Rebirth and Typhoon.
Weaknesses
- Low mobility: many spells require standing still.
- Damage depends on correctly managing Eclipse phases.
- Requires time to ramp up damage.
