Inscription allows you to craft a wide variety of items. These can range from unique profession-specific decorative elements, contracts, treatises, and accessories to various tools for practicing your trade.

Scribes are especially valued by other players, as only they can craft treatises and contracts.

Treatises allow you to gain a skill point for any profession, for example, Thalassian Treatise on Inscription.
