Voidscar Arena — Mythic+ Dungeon Guide
Voidscar Arena
This dungeon was added in the Midnight expansion. It is a combat arena built upon a rift left behind by Void forces. The creatures that dwell here are twisted by the influence of the Void, and players must fight their way through the arena and defeat three bosses, each of which tests the group in a different way.
In this guide we will break down all of the dungeon's mechanics in detail and explain the nuances of each boss encounter as well as the elite enemies found inside.
Taz'ra

Core Boss Abilities
Gather Shadows
Taz'ra summons ethereal shadows that join the fight on his side.
Nether Dash
The summoned shadows dash forward, dealing damage to all targets in a line and leaving a lasting shadow damage periodic effect on them.
Black Hole
A rift appears that pulls nearby players toward its center; players caught at the very center take significant damage.
Cosmic Spike
A powerful strike against the current target that deals heavy damage.
Ethereal Shards
Ethereal shards spread across the arena, leaving dangerous zones on the floor.
Strategy: Taz'ra
- Tanks
Hold the boss and save defensive cooldowns for
Cosmic Spike, which deals heavy damage to its target. Position Taz'ra so that
Black Hole and shadow dash lines are not aimed at the group. - Healers
Monitor players hit by
Nether Dash — it leaves a lengthy shadow damage periodic effect. Prepare defensive cooldowns in advance for
Black Hole, which pulls players and heavily damages those caught at the center. - DPS
Step out of
Nether Dash lines and kill the shadows summoned by
Gather Shadows. Avoid standing at the center of
Black Hole and move out of
Ethereal Shards zones promptly.
Atrox

Core Boss Abilities
Provoke Creeper
Atrox calls a toxic creeper to his aid, which pursues and attacks random players.
Noxious Breath
The boss exhales a cloud of corruption, dealing significant damage to everything in front of him.
Hulking Claw
A powerful claw strike against the primary target that deals high Nature damage.
Poison Splash
A burst of poison that damages players near the impact point.
Poison Pool
Poisonous pools are left on the floor that damage anyone standing in them.
Toxic Aura
A toxic aura radiates around Atrox, harming players who stand too close.
Monstrous Roar
Atrox stomps, dealing damage to the entire group.
Strategy: Atrox
- Tanks
Face the boss away from the group so that
Noxious Breath does not hit your allies, and maintain positioning to account for the
Toxic Aura surrounding him. - Healers
Hulking Claw deals high damage to the current target, and
Monstrous Roar hits the entire group — ramp healing during these moments and watch for poisoned players. - DPS
Kill the toxic creepers summoned by
Provoke Creeper, move out of
Poison Pool and
Noxious Breath, and do not linger in the
Toxic Aura.
Charon

Core Boss Abilities
Unstable Singularity
Charon creates an unstable singularity that deals shadow damage and slows players within its area, and also collapses Gravitic Orbs.
Gravitic Orbs
The boss creates gravitic orbs that continuously chase players until they are collapsed by the Unstable Singularity.
Condensed Mass
A powerful burst that deals significant damage to all players.
Void Cascade
Charon unleashes a cascade of Void energy that strikes players.
Cosmic Crash
An explosion of cosmic energy that leaves a dangerous zone behind.
Strategy: Charon
- Tanks
Avoid standing in
Unstable Singularity, which deals damage and slows, and position the boss so that the group can comfortably guide orbs into it. - Healers
Condensed Mass hits the entire group — ramp healing and defensive cooldowns for these moments and support players kiting orbs. - DPS
Kite the
Gravitic Orbs that chase you until they are collapsed by
Unstable Singularity, and move out of
Cosmic Crash and
Void Cascade zones.
Elite Enemies
In addition to the bosses, you will encounter elite creatures twisted by the Void as you advance through the arena. Below are several of the more notable named enemies. When facing these foes, assign kill targets in advance, interrupt spells, use crowd-control abilities, and avoid pulling multiple groups at once.
Brutok

An elite beast that is dangerous in melee range. It charges at a player with
Smashing Charge and stuns its target with
Head Bash. The tank should keep Brutok faced away from the group, while everyone else maintains distance and avoids the charge.
Vexarot

An elite elemental spellcaster. It attacks at range with
Arcane Missiles and places
Explosive Spheres that must be avoided. Interrupting Vexarot and crowd-controlling it whenever possible is a priority.
Chitigot

An elite oversized insect. It unleashes
Ravenous Swarm, leaves behind
Viscous Venom, and is surrounded by an
Insidious Aura. Move out of the poison zones and avoid clustering near Chitigot.
