Assassination Rogue — a melee fighter wielding a pair of daggers. The class has excellent mobility, solid damage, stealth, and the ability to hide every group/raid member from enemies. Its defining trait is empowering abilities with combo points: some abilities generate combo points while others spend them, gaining extra power based on how many points are stacked.
Strengths
- Stealth and the ability to conceal all party/raid members, letting you bypass tough mob groups without engaging them.
- Excellent mobility.
- Deals significantly more damage once a target drops below 35% health.
Weaknesses
- Heavy reliance on burst cooldowns. Without them class damage is mediocre.
- Long ramp-up before AoE damage, and keeping that damage up through rotation is demanding.
- Requires solid class knowledge to manage the ability priority correctly.

You will have damage abilities from level one. Your main early-level abilities are 
Sinister Strike and 
Envenomed Jab. As you level up you will gain new abilities, moving closer to the full rotation. Stick to the ability priority from the rotation section.
Mythic+ Tips

Shroud of Concealment lets you hide all allies from enemies. Use it to slip past strong mob packs you want to avoid.

You can 
Sap and incapacitate a single enemy when you or your group need to bypass them without fighting.

Distract can shift enemy attention so you slip past unnoticed.

Kidney Shot stuns a target for a very long time (8 seconds). Use it on enemies casting strong spells at you or your group — the longer they are stunned, the less damage they deal.
