About the Class

Vengeance Demon Hunter is a tank that wields two one-handed warglaives. The class has excellent survivability, good damage, and a large number of abilities for controlling single or groups of targets.

Pros and Cons

Pros Cons
🟩 Excellent mobility and a wide selection of abilities for gathering enemies. 🟥 Hero talents provide a random proc of a powerful defensive ability, which can trigger at inopportune moments and fail to trigger when needed.
🟩 Simple defensive ability rotation, allowing you to quickly grasp the class mechanics and achieve good results. 🟥
🟩 Has AoE crowd control and a group damage immunity for both raids and dungeons. 🟥 Some defensive abilities are debuffs, requiring a target to apply them, which can be difficult at the start of an encounter.

Leveling Process

From the very first level you will already have damage-dealing abilities. Your main abilities at the early levels will be Fel Blade and Fel Devastation.

As you level up, you will unlock new abilities, gradually approaching the main rotation. We recommend following this ability priority as they become available:

Mythic+ Tips

Tip #1

Use abilities Chaos Nova and Sigil of Misery to interrupt spellcasting and control groups of enemies.

Tip #2

You can use the ability Imprison to lock an enemy in a cage and walk past them without pulling aggro. This ability is very useful in dungeons for bypassing difficult packs of mobs without fighting them.

Tip #3

The ability Darkness gives your group full immunity to incoming damage (in a 5-player group). Make sure to use this ability during powerful mob or boss abilities targeting group members. This ability also allows you to skip certain boss mechanics in dungeons, but it requires coordinated play from all players.
