Marksmanship Hunter
About the Class
Marksmanship Hunter (MM) is a ranged fighter who wields a ranged weapon (bow, crossbow, gun). In combat, he relies on a variety of shots and volleys to deal damage. Although the class has many instant-cast abilities, its core spells have fairly long cast times, which negatively affects mobility.
Strengths
- Solid and consistent damage in both single target and AoE.
- A simple rotation that lets you quickly understand the spec and achieve good results.
- Provides a raid buff granting 30% Haste for 30 seconds (Bloodlust, Heroism).
Weaknesses
- A small ability pool, which significantly limits the rotation. The class may feel dull for some players.
- Strong abilities require a cast time, which limits mobility.
- Few crowd control tools and few abilities that support the rest of the group.

Leveling
From the very first level you will already have abilities to deal damage. Your core early-game abilities will be
Aimed Shot and
Rapid Fire. As you level up you will unlock new abilities and get closer to the full rotation. We recommend sticking to the ability priority from the Rotation section.
Mythic+ Tips
1
Always use
Misdirection on the tank before dealing damage, or if the tank asks you to divert threat from a pulled group (for example, when you sub-pull distant mobs or someone in the party accidentally grabs extra packs and the tank cannot redirect threat at that moment).
2
Feign Death lets you drop threat from mobs if you accidentally pull an extra pack. It also lets you shed many targeted abilities from mobs and bosses.
3
Use
Camouflage if you need to walk past a group of enemies. This ability grants full invisibility.
4
Exhilaration and
Survival of the Fittest also work on your summoned pets. Use them when you need to protect or heal your pets.
