Holy Priest is a classic healer whose primary stat is Intellect. It relies on powerful direct healing to save allies.
The hallmark of the specialization is the Insight mechanic: casting basic spells reduces the cooldown of powerful “Holy Word” abilities. The gameplay is built around efficiently managing these cooldowns and reactively healing the party or raid.
Strengths
- Powerful healing of both single targets and the entire group through the “Holy Words.”
- Simple and intuitive gameplay, suitable for beginners.
- Access to
Spirit of Redemption, which lets you heal even after death. - Strong raid cooldowns such as
Divine Hymn and 
Holy Word: Salvation.
Weaknesses
- Low mobility: almost all core spells must be cast while standing still.
- Lack of strong defensive abilities for yourself (low survivability).
- Relatively weak damage compared to other healers.

Leveling
While leveling, use Holy Word: Chastise and 
Holy Fire to deal damage. Keep a shield on yourself to minimize incoming damage.
Handy Tips for Mythic+ Keys
Symbol of Hope — use it when other players or you are running low on mana.
Leap of Faith can save an ally from a dangerous zone.
Mass Dispel lets you remove debuffs from the entire group at once, provided the players are near each other.
