Beast Mastery Hunter Guide WoW: Midnight
About the Class
Beast Mastery Hunter (BM) is a ranged fighter who uses ranged weapons (bow, crossbow, firearms). In combat, they use various pets to deal damage. This is a very mobile class that doesn't require the player to spend long periods casting spells during combat.
Strengths
Decent and consistent damage in both single-target and AoE.
Simple rotation that allows you to quickly learn the class and perform well.
Has a raid buff that grants 30% haste for 30 seconds (BL, Heroism).
Weaknesses
Small number of abilities, which greatly limits rotation. The class may seem boring to some players.
Requires controlling summoned pets both during and outside combat, as pets can pull mobs while moving.
Few crowd control abilities and abilities that help the group.

Mythic+ Tips
Tip #1
Make sure to use
Misdirection on the tank before dealing damage or when the tank asks you to redirect threat from a mob pack (for example, pulling distant mobs to the tank or if someone in the group accidentally pulled and the tank can't redirect threat at the moment).
Tip #2
The ability
Feign Death allows you to drop mob aggro if you accidentally pull an extra pack. This ability also lets you avoid many targeted abilities from mobs and bosses.
Tip #3
Use
Camouflage if you need to pass by a group of enemies. This ability gives you full invisibility.
Tip #4
The abilities
Exhilaration and
Survival of the Fittest also work on summoned pets. Use them if you need to protect or heal your pets.
