Get Fyr'alath the Dreamrender

Fyr'alath the Dreamrender is a legendary two-handed axe added in the Dragonflight expansion alongside the Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope raid. It is a massive weapon with an enormous jagged blade wreathed in dark "shadowflame": the model constantly smolders and leaves a trail of fire behind it, making it one of the most spectacular in the game.

Only three plate classes can wield the axe — Warrior, Paladin, and Death Knight. Its stats have long been outdated, but as a transmog appearance it remains in high demand: the blazing silhouette is instantly recognizable and easily serves as the centerpiece of any "fiery" look.

Fyr'alath the Dreamrender drops from the final boss of the Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope raid — Fyrakk. The raid is located in the Emerald Dream and belongs to Dragonflight content, so in the current expansion it can be cleared with a small group or solo.

• The axe drops personally from Fyrakk on any difficulty — Normal, Heroic, or Mythic.
• The base drop chance is low, but it increases with difficulty: it is higher on Mythic than on Heroic and Normal.
• Only Warriors, Paladins, and Death Knights are eligible for the drop — the axe will not drop for other classes.
• One attempt is counted per week per character, so the farm runs on a weekly cadence.

Bad Luck Protection

So that the farm does not drag on endlessly, the raid features an ember system that increases your chance at the axe.

• Lesser Ember of Fyr'alath drops from the other Amirdrassil bosses on Heroic and Mythic and slightly increases the drop chance from Fyrakk.
• Greater Ember of Fyr'alath drops from Fyrakk himself if the axe did not drop, and gives a larger bonus to your chance the following week.
• Accumulated embers make each subsequent attempt more rewarding, so a regular weekly run will sooner or later guarantee the drop.

Quest Chain

Fyrakk drops not a finished weapon, but a blank that starts a separate chain. After obtaining it, you need to gather three components crafted through professions — Leatherworking, Inscription, and Enchanting. If you do not have these professions, the components can be ordered from other players. Once you complete the chain, you finally "awaken" the axe and receive a full legendary item along with its appearance.

• Ideal for "fiery" and infernal plate looks — especially Death Knights and Warriors in dark armor.
• Pairs well with sets in red-black and charcoal tones, where the axe works as a bright burning accent.
• Looks great with sets that reference the Emerald Dream and the Fel-flame theme from Dragonflight.
• Contrasts with bright and "holy" Paladin sets — a debatable but striking pairing of "light and flame."
