The blade is built in the overall style of the seasonal Galactic Gladiator set: a dark cosmic palette with purple-and-blue shimmers and a glow along the edge of the blade. The dagger has a distinctive silhouette — a short serrated blade with a "shattered" edge, which is where the name comes from. In combat the item behaves like a standard seasonal weapon: its base item level is 60, but on arenas, battlegrounds and in War Mode it automatically scales to at least item level 289. For transmog purposes what matters is the appearance, and this blade unlocks it the moment you obtain the weapon.

Galactic Gladiator's Shattered Blade is a Conquest-point weapon, and you can get it for free through a seasonal achievement.

• Accumulate 2500 Conquest points on a single character during Season 1 of Midnight. The points count cumulatively — you don't need to save them up on purpose, it's enough just to play rated PvP.
• Once you cross that threshold, you earn the achievement Galactic Weapons of Conquest, which grants two Galactic Gladiator weapon tokens.
• The tokens can be exchanged for any Conquest-point weapon from the vendor Irissa Bloodstar in Lunarfall. She stands in the southeastern part of the city, at approximate coordinates /way 34.0 80.4.
• If the tokens have already been spent, you can buy that same dagger directly for Conquest points from her as well.

This way of acquiring it is convenient because it doesn't require a high rating: it's enough to play rated matches and rack up the required number of points. Two-handed weapons cost two tokens, while one-handed and off-hand weapons cost one each, so a single token is exactly enough for this dagger.
