Its only stat is Strength, so it was originally a weapon for low-level warriors and paladins. Today the item is interesting first and foremost as an accessible transmog: you don't need to farm it off bosses — you simply buy it from the right vendor, which makes the appearance one of the easiest to obtain for a low-level "brutal" look.
