Fangfin Flailer is a one-handed bludgeoning weapon illusion from the Midnight expansion, added in patch 12.0.5. Essentially it is a cosmetic transmog in the shape of a living fangfin fish that your character swings around like a mace — a deliberately silly, "fishing-themed" look. The item adds an appearance to your account collection, so it has no combat stats of its own.

The appearance arrived together with the underwater Abyss Anglers event off the coast of Zul'Aman. It is one of the most fun rewards of the event: the fish-mace is perfect for joke and themed outfits tied to the sea and fishing.

The appearance is bought with event currency rather than dropping from bosses.

• The appearance is sold by Diver Tu'nakit — the cosmetics vendor of the Abyss Anglers event.
• The appearance costs 2250 units of the Angler Pearls currency.
• Pearls are earned during underwater dives: for fish you catch, relics you find and other activities.

The Fangfin Flailer has no recolors: it is the only weapon illusion from the Abyss Anglers event, and there are no other color variants of this model in the game. The appearance is unique — it depicts a real fish rather than a classic mace, so practically no direct silhouette equivalents exist among weapons.
