Acidic Void Creeper

Acidic Void Creeper is an epic ground mount added in patch 11.2 "Ghosts of K'aresh" of The War Within expansion. It is a creature from the void creeper family, native to K'aresh — the ruined ethereal homeworld. The mount is purchased from the vendor Shad'anis at the Zo'shuul Overlook on K'aresh for 7 Untethered Coins.

This creeper fed on toxic vapors, which saturated its body with powerful acids. Visually, the mount features a yellow-green acidic color scheme with a characteristic void glow. The mount's model belongs to the Acid Void Creeper family, which also includes the Ruby Void Creeper and the Bone Frostbringer.

1. Reach level 80 and complete the main Khaz Algar campaign
2. Complete the K'aresh storyline (chapter 3 of the campaign), including the quest "Tabika", which rewards you with the artifact cloak Reshii Wraps
3. Accept the quest "Phasing It In" and complete the introductory chain of five quests that unlocks the Phase Diving system
4. Reach renown level 2 with the K'aresh Trust faction — this unlocks access to Shad'anis's goods
5. Accumulate 7 Untethered Coins by completing the weekly quest
6. Travel to Shad'anis at the Zo'shuul Overlook (coordinates 50.4, 36.3) and purchase the Acidic Void Creeper
7. Use the item to learn the mount

Shad'anis is a level 80 ethereal who acts as the coordinator and vendor for the Phase Diving system. She is located at the Zo'shuul Overlook in the northwestern part of K'aresh.

Shad'anis belongs to the K'aresh Trust faction and is neutral to both Horde and Alliance. In addition to mounts, she sells a battle pet, transmog sets, toys, and consumables.

Untethered Coins are a currency tied to the Phase Diving system on K'aresh. The primary and only reliable source is the weekly quest "More Than Just a Phase".

Weekly Quest

The quest is available from Shad'anis at the Zo'shuul Overlook or from Constable Zo'ardaz in Tazavesh. To complete it, you need to engage in activities in the Untethered space: defeat enemies, collect treasures, and complete world quests. Progress is tracked via a progress bar.

Reward for completion:

• 7 Untethered Coins
• 300 reputation points with the K'aresh Trust

Completion time: approximately 30–45 minutes solo.

The quest resets weekly and is limited to one completion per account.

How Long It Will Take

To buy the Acidic Void Creeper, you need 7 Untethered Coins. The weekly quest rewards exactly 7 coins, so the mount can be acquired after just one week of completing the quest (provided you have reached renown level 2).

If you want to collect every item sold by Shad'anis, the full collection will cost 68 Untethered Coins — roughly 10 weeks of weekly quests.

Before you can start Phase Diving, you must complete five introductory quests:

1. "Another World" — introduction to the Phase Diving mechanic
2. "The Untethered Void" — learning about conduit platforms
3. "What Does Not See You" — meeting the ethereal beings
4. "Untethered Horror" — battling phase entities
5. "Wrapped" — the mechanic for upgrading the Reshii Wraps

The NPC Hashim gives out quests 2 through 5 after you complete the first one.

Phase Diving is a key mechanic of patch 11.2 and is required to earn Untethered Coins.

Basics

• Movement speed is increased by 50% while diving
• Mounts are unavailable in the initial stage — movement is on foot
• Network of conduits allows you to instantly travel between discovered platforms, covering most of K'aresh
• Exiting a phase is possible by clicking the buff, interacting with a conduit, or using the phase regulator (costs 1 copper at Shad'anis)

Reshii Wraps

An artifact cloak required for diving. It is upgraded with ethereal threads, which are obtained from PvP, PvE content, raids, and bounty quests.
