Get Crimson Primal Direhorn mount

Crimson Primal Direhorn is a ground mount of the Horde faction, added in the Mists of Pandaria expansion (patch 5.2 "Throne of Thunder"). The direhorn is sold for 3000 gold by the Sunreaver Onslaught quartermaster on the Isle of Thunder, but it can only be purchased at the "Exalted" reputation level.

• Horde faction exclusive — impossible for the Alliance to obtain
• Legacy expansion: the Isle of Thunder and the Sunreaver Onslaught faction are no longer current content, so the mount is gradually becoming a rarity among collectors

• Access to the Isle of Thunder (unlocks automatically upon visiting Pandaria in patch 5.2 and later)

There is no formal character level requirement — Pandaria content is long outdated and can be soloed at max level without issue. The only real obstacle is the time needed to grind reputation.

The Sunreaver Onslaught quartermaster is Vasarin Redmorn. His location depends on how far you have progressed on the Isle of Thunder with your character.

The fastest way to reach the Isle of Thunder is as follows:

1. Portal to Orgrimmar.
2. Portal to Pandaria (Valley of the Four Winds or directly to the capital).
3. Make your way to the teleport to the Sunreaver's Sanctuary on the Isle of Thunder — after unlocking the staging area, the Sunreaver Onslaught gains a personal portal straight from Orgrimmar (Portal to Sunreaver's Sanctuary).

If the staging area is not yet unlocked, you can reach the island by ship from the port in the Krasarang Wilds.

Reputation with the Sunreaver Onslaught is gained through daily quests on the Isle of Thunder. The method is as follows:

1. Fly to the Isle of Thunder and find the Sunreaver representative in the Horde camp.
2. Pick up the starting scouting quests — they unlock access to the daily quests.
3. Complete all available faction quests every day. In the early stage that's 5–7 quests, and after advancing the storyline there are more.
4. At the Honored standing, buy the Grand Commendation of the Sunreaver Onslaught from Vasarin — it doubles the reputation you earn and significantly speeds up the path to Exalted.
5. In addition to daily quests, reputation drops from scrolls that appear inside the solo scenario on the island.

On average you earn between 1500 and 2000 reputation per day. The full path from Neutral to Exalted takes about 2–3 weeks of real time with daily play.

• Play any class, but classes with increased movement speed travel the fastest. Combat on the island is simple — at level 90 everything dies in one or two hits.
• Buy the Commendation right away upon reaching Honored. Without it, the path to Exalted stretches out nearly twice as long.
• Don't skip the island's storyline quests — they unlock new zones, new daily quests, and therefore more reputation per day.
• If you have several Horde characters — reputation is per-character, not account-wide, so each character grinds it on their own. However, you can buy the mount from Vasarin on any character who has reached Exalted.
