Get Daelin Proudmoore's Saber
Overview

Daelin Proudmoore's Saber is a one-handed sword added to World of Warcraft in the Battle for Azeroth expansion. It is a ceremonial officer's saber in the Kul Tiran naval style: a curved blade, a guard with a gilded anchor pattern, and a pommel shaped like the head of a sea predator. The palette is kept in the blue-steel and golden tones of the Kul Tiras fleet.
The sword is named in honor of Daelin Proudmoore — the Lord Admiral of Kul Tiras and Jaina's father, which makes it a story-driven trophy for fans of the Proudmoore line. The item's quality is epic. For transmog, this is one of the most recognizable "naval" blades in the game, fitting perfectly into the looks of corsairs, sailors, and fleet officers.
Source
Daelin Proudmoore's Saber drops in the Battle of Dazar'alor raid — the second raid of the Battle for Azeroth expansion.
- Boss: Lady Jaina Proudmoore, the final boss of the raid.
- Difficulties: the sword can drop in Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic modes — the model is the same, only the item level differs.
- Group or solo: the raid belongs to a past expansion and can be cleared solo at the current level.
- Limit: loot from the final boss resets once a week per character, so you can farm the sword one run per week on each character.
- The sword is part of a small named set of trophies from Jaina — a matching item of the same theme drops from the same fight alongside it.
How to Reach the Raid
The raid entrance is located in Zuldazar, the capital of the Zandalari. The easiest way to get there is through the raid teleportation table or via your capital's portals to the BfA zone, and then fly to the raid entrance within Dazar'alor itself.
Who It Suits Visually
- Suits Kul Tiran and naval sets in the blue-gold and steel color range.
- Harmonizes with the looks of corsairs, sailors, and fleet officers thanks to the anchor pattern on the guard.
- Looks great in paired builds with a dagger or a second matching saber for dual-wielding.
- Contrasts with dark "pirate" sets — against them, the gilded guard works as a bright accent.
Tips
The fastest farming method is running into the raid once a week on several characters: this multiplies the number of attempts at the sword dropping from Jaina.
If you only need the appearance and not a high item level, choose Raid Finder mode — the model there is the same, and forming a group or queuing up is the easiest.
The final fight with Jaina is multi-phase and poses no danger at the current level, but it takes a bit longer in solo because of the phase changes.
The saber is a one-handed weapon, so it suits specializations that use one-handed swords; it pairs conveniently with a second blade for a symmetrical look.
A matching named trophy drops from the same fight, so a weekly run to Jaina closes several collection goals at once.
The appearance is saved in your transmogrification collection permanently after the sword is first obtained by any eligible character.
