Get Darkspear Raptor mount

Darkspear Raptor is a ground mount added to World of Warcraft in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion (patch 3.1.0). It is a large war raptor with the distinctive coloring of the Darkspear tribe, originally bred by the Drakkari trolls of Northrend and later taken into service by the Darkspear tribe. The mount is available only to characters of the Horde faction and is purchased with the Argent Tournament currency — Champion's Seals.

The Darkspear Raptor is purchased from Samamba — the Sen'jin Village quartermaster at the Argent Tournament Grounds in Icecrown (Northrend). The mount costs 100 Champion's Seals.

1. Head to Northrend, to the Argent Tournament Grounds in the northeastern part of Icecrown. The easiest way to get there is through the portal to Dalaran in Orgrimmar, and from there — by flying mount to the north
2. Begin the Argent Tournament quest chain by speaking with Mariel the Truehearted. You will receive the rank of Aspirant and access to the first daily quests
3. Complete the Aspirant daily quests over three days to earn 15 Aspirant's Tokens. After that, you can take on the trial and become a Valiant of your home city
4. At the Valiant stage, complete the daily quests for five days to gather 25 Valiant's Tokens. Then take the trial and become a Champion of your home city
5. After earning the rank of Champion of your home city, take the quest to advance as a Valiant of Sen'jin Village (if your home city is not Sen'jin) and repeat the Valiant path for the troll faction. Pass the trial and become a Champion of Sen'jin Village
6. As a Champion, you gain access to daily quests that reward Champion's Seals. Accumulate 100 seals
7. Visit Samamba in the Horde tent on the tournament grounds and purchase the Darkspear Raptor

The Argent Tournament is located in the northeast of Icecrown. It is a permanently active event that is not tied to the calendar — you can start progressing at any time. Progress is divided into three stages, each of which unlocks new daily quests and rewards.

After earning the rank of Champion of your home city, you can take quests to advance as a Valiant for the other Horde cities. Each city requires a separate completion of the Valiant stage (5 days and 25 tokens), after which you become a Champion of that city.

If your character is a troll, you automatically begin the path with the Sen'jin Village faction and become a Champion of Sen'jin Village first. Characters of other Horde races will need an additional 5 days to advance as a Valiant of Sen'jin Village.

Champion's Seals are the main reward currency of the Argent Tournament. You begin earning them after reaching the rank of Champion of at least one city.

At maximum efficiency, you will need approximately 7–8 days to accumulate 100 seals. If you are only just starting the Argent Tournament from scratch, add another 8–13 days to reach the rank of Champion (3 days as Aspirant + 5 days as Valiant of your home city + if needed, 5 days as Valiant of Sen'jin Village).
