Deathdancer's Warglaive — Transmog Set Guide

Deathdancer's Warglaive is a one-handed warglaive from the Night Fae weapon set, added in Shadowlands. It is a curved, sickle-shaped blade with a dark, smoky-purple edge and a twisted hilt in the natural aesthetic of Ardenweald: an interweaving of wood and bone motifs instead of the usual demonic steel.

The glaive uses the same base model as the rest of the Night Fae covenant warglaives and differs from its siblings only in coloring. The Deathdancer is the darkest variant of the palette: muted blue-purple tones with a cold glow along the edge. In terms of stats the item has long been irrelevant, but as a transmog it remains an excellent choice for demon hunters who want to move away from the classic green-and-fiery look of the Fel toward dark nature magic.

The glaive does not drop from bosses — it is sold by the Night Fae covenant quartermaster in their stronghold, the Heart of the Forest, in Ardenweald. It is a cosmetic weapon that unlocks the appearance upon purchase.

To buy the glaive, you need to:

• Be a member of the Night Fae covenant (or switch your covenant to it).
• Reach the required Renown level with the covenant — appearance weapons unlock as your Renown grows.
• Have a sufficient supply of currencies: the purchase costs Reservoir Anima and Grateful Offering.

Reservoir Anima accumulates from Ardenweald quests and activities and is funneled into the stronghold's anima reservoir. Grateful Offering is given by the residents of the Shadowlands for developing the anima conductor in your stronghold. Both currencies are tied to the covenant, so farming runs in parallel with leveling Renown — by the time the required level unlocks, the needed amount is usually already saved up.

Account-bound: the appearance unlocks for your entire account, but the item itself is purchased on a Night Fae member character. No group is required — everything is done solo.
